        i have to bd experience with APPLE , Ipod 60 GB stopped working after 11 month (was rarely used) and because i am not in US, apple in my country in nice way told me (through it)WE DON't fix them, 2nd the 1st iphone, built in call headphone stopped working and again, i had to use it for 4 month with bluetooth headphone, till i sold it with 1/10 of it's price cause it's not fixable.. when nokia realised 6210 ,at start they had problems with the phone, in 4 month they replaced 3 mobiles for me till the issue was resolved, they have real customer care..

          well from what i watched on nokia website, it's excellent step done by NOKIA, i was just today gonna do the 3rd mistake with apple and order the iphone 3G but sure i will wait, as i didn't like about iphone it's poor specs " no bluetooth data, no 3g vedio call, no video recording, no msg Forwarding, no MMS, no msn" , i guess nokia will win overall.

                  Anonymous, 03 Oct 2008I've got the prototype of the phone, and it works fast. Fas... moreLots of phones have better specs on paper then the iPhone, and yet, they are no where near as good when released. HTC, Samsung, Nokia, all had "iPhone killers" back in 07... "Oh, this is gonna be a iPhone killer... that is gonna be a iPhone killer." Did the iPhone died? Not even close.

                  I'm by no means a Apple fan boy. I held out on the 1st iPhone. Held out for one whole year. I have never owned anything made by Apple. I've always had Nokia phones. Then switch to the E6 last year. Friend got a N95 8GB and I tried liking it. I really did. I tested every feature it offered. But in the end, it just wasn't as good as I thought. Then I played with another friend's iPhone 3G for 5 minutes and that was all it took. I was blown away at the smoothness and the touch response. Compared to my E6, it basically kicked it back to stone age.

                  IMO, the iPhone really isn't a smart phone. It does not have many needed features a smart phone should have. It should be categorized as a multimedia phone. It fits the name perfectly. Fun, fast, large screen, great music handling, and best of all, easy to use. You can always fill in some feature gaps with 3rd party software. Yes you have to jailbreak it but to be honest, I was looking forward in doing it. It was actually quite fun to do! There's always some kind of excitement when you're doing something you're not suppose to do... hehe..

                            This device is going to be around 450 USD unlocked, that IS a fine price. I guess I will just toss that plectrum a way and call it a day.

                                        I've got the prototype of the phone, and it works fast. Faster than N95. It lags sometime, but it's written in my prototype documents that it's not the same processor that will be in the retail unit.

                                        It also says it gets faster after days of use, cause it will know what processes to load first and last, based on your normal use.

                                        About the screen-rotation, it needs to be horizontal, otherwise it would work well, this will be also tweaked by the release date, between 8-21 october.

                                        Also nobody has the retail unit, there's only a few at Nokia that have it, but they aren't allowed to make reviews on it.

                                        This phone beats the iphone, it doesn't have multitouch, but it has;

                                        * 3,2 mp - flash - carl zeiss - vga 30 fps
                                        * gps with turn to turn navigation (also better gps chip)
                                        * memory is unlimited expandable via micro sd
                                        * has a 3g video conferencing camera
                                        * has a better audio chip and higher bit-capability

                                        Bear in fact, for once, it's not an iphone killer, it's just a mid-class phone. The iPhone killer will be out by next year april, and will have these specs;

                                        * 800x600 4 inch with touch sensitive buttons
                                        * 10 or 12 mp, carl zeiss, hd ready recording 30fps
                                        * min 32 gb phone memory
                                        * Nvidia tegra chip for gaming
                                        * Dolby suround audio chip
                                        * 3,75G
