          wow !
so many nokia fans are supporting this phone
and i cannot see why ?
even you all said it is equip with dual processor ,it look really slow on the demo , just like the n73 which also have dual processor and work really slow on the reality

some function say to be new on this phone such as when you wanted to call ,simply press the first latter and it will limit the contact name for easy calling , this is available in WM phone long time ago and it is not a really a new thing to WM lover or a user.
it rotate very slow compare to other phone which have similar function

yueah, forgot, there's a google phone coming.any real review on that please? that would be interesting, fed up with Iphones and Apple in general, even their laptops seem faulty lately, are they fighting with Microsoft360 to see whose devices are worse ? i think we're being fooled into buying crap that gets outdated faster by the minute.I thing Japanese phones will be the next best thing when these guys wake up into making phones again.

iphone is for the fashion and style victims.it sells a specific social status.besides it's friendly os and simple touch use, it's useless.underpowered.symbian is a robust and rewardind os for mobile phones.this nokia 5800 is an interesting concept and i'd like to see how it 'll capitalize in the market.its futures are better than those of iphone.a touch E series professional nokia phone is what i'm looking forward to.in a presentation in a nokia event they showed a prototype which is like E90 with a large almost 4 inch touch screen and a sliding keyboard which has only touch keys too. Some wild specs on it float around,we'll be looking for it.My only thoughts on 5800 are:
1)how quick in response will its touch screen be.Will it need a significant amount of pressure or only the touch will activate a function?
2)as a friend posted before, will this touch screen be scratch sensitive or durable?

i'm writing my own apps on my s60 phones since i bought my e50 2years ago.i really hate iphone and its owners surely can't understand the concept of what an os or program is.

I will sure give 5800 a try, but I wait a more mature E incarnation of it, with a metallic body and more.

And YES we use pcs we run linux or even windows and know how they work and how to repair them and write progs for them we don't use the imac box concept.

As an iphone reviwer posted it: "iphone is foe the gadget, electronic and program iliterate average person who wants to show off".

Nokia 5800 is a first taste of what we, the power users, want our phones to be, and we'll try it.The rest of u go show off your igo. (ego).

How did you know that 5800 is better than any other touchscreen phones? It's not even out yet. And nobody has ever tried or tested this phone. You're opinion is based simply on paper.

True that iPhone also has GPS, but it does not have turn-by-turn navigation. Does Nokia have and, if yes, is it free? I mean, after buying the maps, is turn-by-turn navigation free or a paying service?

I have a N95 and have had it for 20mths, first Symbian phone and think its great, was considering the N96, but as Tv doe snot work in UK I would love a 5800, looks better to use than my very easy to use N95.

                                looks great too.

well, it's not too expensive, and it's symbian, which means it would be easier too find 3rd party programs.
can't wait until it available here in my country

Anonymous, 03 Oct 2008New series and design??? bro what is the Nseries and Eserie... moreNot really, Samsung's E series are economy phones with features to boot,

D series are above the E series, it has better features and higher price,

the X series are the cheap ones, the P Series are the 3G and HSDPA phones the D series are their top of the line.

It's not random at all, you're just not observant enough
