    Exynos 2200 use like 10W in Geekbench Multicore while E2400 use just 4.5 while offer better performance.

    E2400 by far also has better efficiency than sd 8 gen 2 in Cpu, 4.5W vs 6.1W,

    So we know that Samsung process isn't better than Tsmc by beating 8 gen 2 my guess it's new cores, probably A720 solved leaked issues present in other Arm midcore that's why D9300 also can compete, let's wait for proper review from Ian or someone more knowledgeable.

      I'm really, really surprised. Mainly that the Exynos has ray tracing and secondly that the Snapdragon does not...

      I came believe Qualcomm didn't see that coming but Samsung did...

          lol @ new details emerging and the Exynos S2400 has better battery life on than the S24 Ultra on the EU websites, and the Exynos counterparts have a longer battery life than their Snapdragon counterparts

              All this negativity still, even before independent review with synthetic benchmarks have been carried out.

              A preview of the bias and mentioned here is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 / Exynos 2400 split. Bizarrely I did read before I went for my eye examination, Ultras should get the latest Snapdragon the other 2 model the previous Snapdragons (8 Gen 3 / 8 Gen 2 Apple model ) just to not having Exynos at all.

              That aside what does this article show or indicate? In "real world" it quite possibly doesn't matter or affect user interactions, it won't matter to anybody who doesn't play these games, just the REAL games like Candy Crush, Water Sort etc.

              The 2024 results won't actually silence some, however the point I wish to make in advance of these is the Samsung S25.
              BOTH Qualcomm and Samsung will be utilising 3nm SoC
              Samsungs NEW potential advantage / potential gain is with its 10 Core it can change the architecture configuration if it wants to.
              Qualcomm has limited architecture options, the only gains are the migration to 3nm.
              This matters as the 3nm SoC will cost more

              I'm not saying wait for the S25, the title is more glass half empty, Snapdragon leads / advantage reduced, significantly? Wait...

One major problem that causes Joule heating, especially in advanced processes(because of miniaturization) , is leakage. It is possible that Samsung miraculously made their process more stable w/ lower leakage, their process in E2400 is 4LPP+ v.s. E2200's 4LPP. A single packaging technology will not solve the root problem.

The intuition of FOWLP is to increase the I/O density(RDL layer), reduce thickness to save vertical space for stacking. It is true that it may help with heat dissipation(because it is thinner), but that is not the main goal.

                      pretty sure they aint priced it any lower using the exynos if they used the sd8 gen 3 on s24+,S24 , so even if its slightly behind still getting worse deal

                        To speak of APs, Apple A10 fabricated by TSMC already utilized this technology while Samsung coudln't, and that was a major reason why Samsung was kicked out.

                        Again, why it becomes so "cutting edge" and "more advanced" after 7 years? Do you really know this industry or only know some buzz words?

                          Power consumption during games could be at least as interesting news as this. At least I'm more interested in power consumption than performance right now.

                            We'll believe it when we see a performance per watt test by geekerwan or golden reviewer. Samsung can pull off all sorts of tricks to make exynos look better.

                                  Best part about this is to go and read comments about Exynos vs SD in older gsmarena articles, shortly before the S24 was released. The amount of people who were jumping on the hate bandwagon like herd of sheep was unreal.
