But what about efficiency & heating up which were the main complaints about the chip,am not so sure they have fixed that cause nobody has said anything about it yet

DarlingYext, 22 Jan 2024"Well, to promote the Ultra. " So if the fact ... moreWhat I'm saying is that people would see the Snapdragon on Ultra and Exynos on its siblings and would go for the Ultra only because of Snapdragon, as they believe that Exynos is largely inferior to Snapdragon, which isn't the case here.

Fierce competition is the best thing for consumers.
Let's see what next years "Dream Chip" will bring.

DarlingYext, 22 Jan 2024So then use Snapdragon only, easy solution."Easy solution" lol

Well on a company any level, things are a bit more than just an easy solution. Samsung saves money, by putting their own chipsets. That's the reason. The Ultra is an expensive device so it's expected to have the absolute best of all the features, that's why it has Snapdragon. The rest 2 can do with a split where required

I'm guessing Samsung used snapdragon only for the ultra cause exynos already had a bad reputation,
Imagine s24 series with only exynos chips which people already know how poorly exynos is at maintaining performance
So even if 2400 is on per or even better than 8 gen3 they would like to prove it first rather than gambling it all
Maybe if exynos keeps up with this, maybe the s25s might be exynos exclusive 🤔

DarlingYext, 22 Jan 2024"Well, to promote the Ultra. " So if the fact ... moreI dont care for brand loyalty if something is better offering more I would buy it, so far the pricing doesnt seem to be reflected using exynos , its overall still behind and looks like uses more battery life, if it was cheaper or even slightly behind but better life that would at lease be something but I aint seeing anything like that

unless you really into smaller screens I dont know why you would choose the base s24 models over the Oneplus 12

So if the fact that the Ultra is the only one that has Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in every market is to promote it, what does that tell you about the Exynos 2400?

"They know people like you would see Snapdragon on S24 Ultra and buy it mainly because of that chipset.."

People like me? No absolutely not, people like me wouldn't buy any of these.

                          "But Exynos is good too."

It might be, but at these prices they should be giving the best, which is clearly not the Exynos 2400, their lack of confidence in their own chipset by not having an Exynos variant of the Ultra as well, shows it all.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on this new Exynos chipset, what I hate is them splitting it, and them not being confident enough in it, to put it in the Ultra as well. Not everyone gets the same product while paying a lot of money for these phones. Either give the Exynos 2400 in every S24 series phone, in every market, or give the 8 Gen 3 for all of them in every market.

They know people like you would... morenope even early tests show its close but behind so that point doesnt count doesnt matter if its close if its behind its behind even in battery its looking behind so you tell me what are the pros of having exnyos over SD 8 gen 3 when price doesnt seem to be reflected ? , looking at the pricing of the other models they not selling them on a discount

We live in such good times when the biggest problem for people nowadays is the processor brand in their phone. And yet they act furious about it, like they could murder someone. What gives... Just be happy you have such small problem!

they not selling them on a discount , so doesnt matter if they are close you getting worse deal but they are profiting more hehehehe

But Exynos is good too. It's thermal management has massively improved, don't see any reason to complain about it. Can you even use of 2/3 of the performance of Snapdragon 8 gen 3?

Waiting for more excuses from the Exynos haters.

Samsung has deal with Qualcomm they will never use Exynos only unless there is issue like S6 era, it's cheaper for them to mix like this than to use Exynos only. We all know how Qualcomm licence it's patents.
