This whole topic is so useless. Samsung promises and delivers a certain user experience. Who cares what CPU is inside ?

The most important thing is energy efficiency. Samsung starts off badly with the 7s Gen2

      How about battery performance?

The only way to determine true resolution is to screenshot and do pixel-to-pixel counting, like Geekerwan did on numerous phones. Furthermore, this is especially important for Exynos, because AMD-based Xclipse GPUs are very, very rare. Different GPUs may have different behaviors when rendering, especially for texture filtering.

So what could you conclude from 60fps under 5w without knowing actual render setting? I did not see the uploader provide any kind of screenshot that could be downloaded.

By the way, maybe off topic, but why didn't he try to wander in Sumeru city using Yelan's E skill? I think that should be the normal test setting

RealLifePhones, 22 Jan 2024Seems like Samsung finally fixed Exynos 🤩 Fierce competiti... moreIt wasn't so broken in the first place. Maybe just in the S20 series.
The rest were good Exynos chipsets. Just the people were making them look far worse than in reality.
For normal usage they were perfectly fine. Not all people want PC's or consoles in their pockets.
And besides, nowadays, with the increasing number of portable gaming devices (thank Steam Deck for this), maybe people will stop see smartphones as gaming devices or look only at benchmarks when choosing a phone.

DarlingYext, 22 Jan 2024Yes, that is exactly what Samsung wants people to believe. ... moreThe bottom line is that, Samsung is creating as much of a divide as possible between the Ultra and the other two phones. That's to promote Ultra sales obviously. It's very unethical but that's how they do business

Nobody cares about benchmark scores. What people want to know about is battery life, heat, stuttering

Once again Samsung's flagship phones have a processor divide but what really is disappointment that they cheaped out on glass and instead only the ultra has a gorilla armor glass. Really, Samsung's way of creating a divide between ultra and the base variant is terrible. Skipping out basic features on base models just to promote the top end ultra variant
I hope this company stops making phones altogether

They are using their own at this point actually pretty GOOD chipset, to make their cheaper, but still expensive S series look inferior, so people will buy the Ultra. Samsung knows that most people dislike Exynos, and instead of fixing that problem, they are using it to their adventage, which is smart, but I'm definitely not gonna commend them for it.
