Anonymous, 28 Jan 2024yeah really pricey it's insane these prices nowadaysThe flagship of all brands is almost $1000 honestly. And less than $ 500 difference is actually fine for me.

I am not a fan of particular brand, what I need is a smartphone that have good (even the best) in consistency in everyday use, not sometime better sometime worse. I do not mention the brand I am using but I am choosing an Android phone, instead of iOS phone.

        In Spain, giving back my S23 Ultra 1Tb and with the discount offered, the S24 Ultra ends in 595 Euros, which is more palatable. I will swap them

I used to pay $500 - $600 for annual for Note series and iPhone Max Pro. Which is not bad for getting the latest. Using the phone 3 years returns worst value in my region (iPhone may hold some value but newer one will require $1000) and anything beyond 5 years will return great value during replacement.

                      I still use Note 20 Ultra which has bigger screen than 24 Ultra (6.9 LPTO QHD+) and has 12 GB RAM, enough EXYNOS horsepower, Memory Card slot, eSIM, curved screen, IR sensor (this is not available after Note 20 Ultra) last July I replaced the screen for $250, planning to keep it for S25 Ultra or S26 Ultra!

Compared to that no brand is even close.

                            The only major problem with S series is the specs compared to price.
                            Many else brands for much cheaper price and with all important accesories in the box sells equal or a much better device.
                            In other words Samsung is costly garbage not worth to have.
                            And said AI which is just software update which any phone can have apart low cost samsugn phones which laggs and bricks even with halfbaked samsung UI wont cut it.
                            Apart the software update they gave nothing just new Exynos new GPU and maybe 20 worth of Titanium just like Apple 15 series.
                            But apart that many else phones from many else brands packs much more music for less money.
