Whatever, just don't build any crappy phones. I had to buy a $100 Nokia C32 just for calling and WhatsApp – and this phone can't even handle those tasks with ease. It takes ages to load WhatsApp and open the dialer, and it always struggles to make a call or even pop up the Gboard. I've made all the changes to speed up the phone, tried very low-featured keyboard apps, and this phone never fails to fail itself. Sometimes I have to reboot the phone to make a call back, even though the signal icons are showing full. Literally, I have nothing good to say about this crappy Nokia C32.

Wesker, 01 Feb 2024Finally, Nokia can rest in peace. Not a single Nokia device... moreHopeless Nokia fanatics never bought Nokia Androids. It's just the types of people who I've mentioned in my earlier comment. Only people who were lost with purchasing something they prefer to use long term, those who had no choice due to inflation and poor pricing, those who repel software skins on low to mid-range phones, and the Apple users looking for a good companion phone. Those "fanatics" seem to be reviewers and developers, who bought them for testing purposes (including that person from TechMesto and Hikari Calyx)
I don't support brands specifically, but I prefer to give credit where it's due.

Aan2007, 01 Feb 2024we are not talking here about Nokia phones made by Nokia, b... moreThese are the ones I were talking about. iPhones didn't exist in the glory days of Nokia, and Foxconn found its target market with Nokia Androids. Even though there are some of the mistakes that I'd rather criticize, I think we all should give their due credit.
There wasn't any cases of poor software support in Android-based Nokias. They had bugs, which were quickly resolved with software updates, whereas all others from Xiaomi to BBK and Samsung never fixed them, to encourage people to buy new phones once the warranty expires. The earlier units had poor quality control issues, owing to Foxconn's mishandling of brands (common defects that are found today, even in Xperia, Sharp and Kyocera-branded phones).
My suggestion is to never judge a book by its cover. I've always recommended Nokia phones, not because I'm a fan (I'm not a fan of Windows phone and Symbian to begin with), but rather my user experience. Those who purchased Nokia phones under my recommendation have never been disappointed in their phone purchases.
