This is a 2023 model launching in 2024, but that didn't hurt it as much as the hefty price tag.

At first, i wanted to buy Zfold 5, but considering that I managed to talk my way to a 600 euro discount on both phones with my service provider and managed to snap a magic v2 with a bundled in honor pad x9 and honor watch 4, i think i got a much better deal than getting zfold5, while getting a better product, at least in terms of spec

        For me matters everything for most users too.
        And they arent better at everything the only better thing they have is number of OS updates but thats it.
        2-3 updates for most people is more than enough then sell old device while it still have a decent value and buy new one.
        But suits your self.

                Said Honor X7B can be expensive but compared to some brands like Samsung A25 or A34 etc and many else phones from other brands are even more expensive.
                And on the other hands many phones are a lot cheaper.
                But still specs to price are very decent.

                        And at second for example this beauty is 189 euros Dimensity 7020, 12GB ram and 256GB storage with a 50 Mpix main cam and 6000 mAh cell. All necesarry accesories included in box thats another 30-70 euros vendor dependable.
                        Like i said when i take a closer look at price under 250 i find plenty devices which are way better. But at same price as said honor phone you find plenty devices from way more popular brand which cost way more but dont offeer way better specs not even equal but whole light years worseplus zero accesories in box.

There's really nothing saving the Honor phone, unlike the Nothing Phone which at least has its excellent software to.

                                  When this thing been released the SD 8 gen 3 werent available.
                                  So its only logical it wont sell with SD 8 gen 3 if chinese have SD 8 gen 2.
                                  About the android 14 this phone will get it like it gets android 15, 16 maybe even more.
                                  My half year old Moto Edge 40 pro also sports android 14 since last monday but the differences between the 13 and 14 are so weak it really does not matter much whether you have them or not.

                                  15 years ago when android were new thing every 2-3 months new update brought something tottaly new. Nowdays from android 10-11 to latest 14 the differences are mostly minor cosmetic everybody can live without.

                                        Others do not. In china and later india they are released first many months after they are released in EU and other regions.
                                        I am not defending honor i just saying how its works.
                                        Reason why they dont release this device same time as it was released in chinese are uknown for me.
                                        But honestly if all phones from all brands would be available in so much countries like Samsung or Apple for example and from first day of sale completely different brands will top up the first charts of most sold devices.
                                        Because for lower price most so called chinese brands output 2-10 times better devices with all necessary accesories in box.
                                        Thats the truth you and many else cant deny.
                                        But as i said before reasons why this aint happening are unknown for me.
                                        Market is big enough for everyone. But as usually is eaten by someone who have no rights to be there.
