          Samsung holds so many patents, it become difficult for other manufacturer to create foldable phone without paying patent fees to samsung or buy parts from Samsung.

          For example: Samsung has the patents of foldable waterdrop hinge and foldable display 4-5 years before launch of first Z Fold phone.

            given how apple users are ,i don't think apple will be able to sell a device with plastic screen (UTG is still as fragile as plastic)
            so either this is gonna get delayed or cancelled as whole

They had their glory times when they actually did some innovative stuff. But those times are kinda over. They play it safe, unlike other companies, because their main goal is to sell as many phones as possible and they have to keep their phones consumer-friendly, unlike other companies who know damn well they won't sell too many of their phones, even if they are innovative and the first at something. Take Oppo or Xiaomi or Tecno for example

                        Did samsung created storage chips? No

                        Samsung mobile has over the years just absorbed ideas from other and advertise as new. And never makes better.
                        Even those AI editing from pixel, also with same flaws ( artifacts and halos when you move subject around the frame)
