Mostly for long term updates and that both brands have long history in electronics. Also that both are not Chinese brands and there is a serious paranoia with everything that is Chinese so it be a lot harder for Chinese brands to get trust from other countries in the world and especially west side of the world. As west side of the world is doing a lot of propaganda towards China out of fear of losing control of the world

                    Bodygard, 06 Feb 2024Becoming too late...already S24, Oneplus 12...what's late? Xiaomi flagships are always released around December to April but the 14 series is earlier at the end of February. If you want it fast, just buy the Chinese version which came out last October.

                            Anonymous, 06 Feb 2024Next mix fold to be international too. The code for the Mix Fold 4 has the G on its end, meaning a global launch will be coming in the coming months

                              Would be nice if Xiaomi step in the world of other phone brands who release there new flagships in every market on the same time and not wait few months for other markets then there own country. Maybe then they can also brag on there sold numbers.

                              At Chine release date they compete with Apple release but with global release of the 14 they compete with Samsung. And probably a lot of people pick the Samsung over them cause they cant wait for Xiaomi global release and cause the China version being out for months then there are already reviews out and issues with the phone so people basically wont buy the phone cause of impulse buy.

                                  13 series was priced €1000, €1300 and €1500 for base storage/ram variants.
