It feels like Xiaomi dont care about global markets and dont want there money when they release them so late. Xiaomi 14 was advertised as first phone to have SD 8 Gen 3 in it. But now seems to be last on the list who can sell the SD 8 Gen 3 in global market.
Well i waited like 2-3 months to get Poco F5 while i was looking to get X5 Pro. As i wanted to see what will F5 be like and thanks to it have 3.5mm jack and was with Android 13 then i went with that over x5 Pro and i were willing to spend 100 euro over my budget.
If i would be buying a flagship then i probably would not buy Xiaomi and go with the Samsung S class for the reason that i dont need to wait months for global release and pray for them to have a global release.
They release 14 in October and then people from Europe and India need to wait 4 months for it is a joke to be honest
By the time they have global release it's already half a year old phone basically

Too expensive outside of China, shame the CN version doesnt have some bands :( looking forward what the 14 ultra will be like

If the Xiaomi 14 is priced competitively, close to the base S24, Xiaomi has a fighting chance in the flagship segment to earn some market share. That is one stellar "non Pro" phone. The jump from the 13 to the 14 is quite drastic, practically everything is one giant step forward. Unless someone really wants a big screen or variable aperture, the Pro is made redundant basically, the display resolution upgrade is negligible, unlike last year. The weird thing is the advertised charging speed, why does the base 14 take so much longer lol
Also, anyone who's complaining about Xiaomi releasing phones late, what's the hurry? Releasing phones early and having to wait for "a few updates" to get good is just a horrible move. All reviews taint the image of the phone and everyone just says "maybe it'll get better with updates", that happened with the Oneplus 12 and with the S24 Ultra as well, if they both waited a month and ironed out the bugs their reviews would've been far more favorable. I don't understand the obsession with releasing phones this early if they aren't finished, customers will buy anyway. Favorable reviews are likely to garner more buyers. I think that's why GSM is waiting on the S24 U or Samsung hasn't sent out a sample to them, who knows?

You should be aware that Xiaomi budget to middle class dont have long term software support. Also why not install a custom android on your X5 Pro when you cant live without security and android updates that you need to cry about it ?
A33 have a lots of things that are worse then X5 Pro but it give you 4 OS updates and 5 years of security updates so why did you go with x5 Pro if these updates are a matter of life and de*th for you ?
