Stainless steel is the heaviest. At certain weight, it feels solid and premium, like the iPhone 4. But at certain sizes like the Pro Max iPhones, it became too unwieldy for a portable device. Aluminum is light and strong. Titanium in this sense is a marketing trick as it instill premium feeling due to the perception that titanium is expensive (while in reality Apple only use it as a coating for the aluminum frame, basically it's just cosmetic).

Nowadays, even plastic can be molded and polished in a way to mimic metal/glass surfaces. Many Chinese phones use plastic frame, but you don't immediately feel it especially the ones with matte finish.

Only reason titanium won is bc there wasn't an "I don't care" option. Out of them titanium is the best though

I'm not saying titanium is not a better material. Only, industry is using it to rip us more money from our pockets haha

Shouldn't even be such a big point of discussion all this "what the frame of the phone is made of?" Like genuinely, when's the last time you went to buy a phone and said "Oh lemme see real quick what the frame is made of. Oh, it's aluminum, how bad. If it doesn't have a solid piece of vibranium built into it, I ain't getting it"

What titanium? Oh, the 0.05% of the entire phone. Roger Roger.

[deleted post]Titanium isn't much of a use. It doesn't reflex as much as aluminium

There is nothing like titanium even Apple is just bits of it on an Aluminium frame.
Same goes for S24 samsung series.
2-3 worth of titanium does not make titanium phone.
Its still aluminium phone with just dents of titanium molded into frame.
The only real titanium phone is Vertu.
Apart Vertu there arent any fully titanium made phones.

By this comparison we can say Oneplus 12 can be called cooper edition because of largest among all phones cooper chamber for reducing the excessive heat.

If Apple for example uses 17 phillips screws made of 4 karat gold worth 4 euros it will be called gold edition???
                                Heck no.

Manufacturers jsu use marketing gimmick to confuse those customers who have no idea and never saw any Jerryrigeverything video.
EU should really ban those shady practicies for good and fine those companies for marketing lies.

Titanium is nothing more than a marketing gimmick, to extract more pennies outta consumers, a pro appel move obviously

I have S24U but to be fair I will not miss titanium if the phone will be made from aluminium as most of the time,99% ,the phone is keept into a phone case!

I have no problem with plastic, I do have a problem with overpaying for dumb stuff nobody asked for.

Aluminum is better for me, looks more premium and feels better.
