BTW D8300 is hella broken. CPU AND GPU wise is on par of SD8+ Gen 1!
No wonder why Qualcomm is so desperate to prepare to release the SD 7+ Gen 3. Not the vanilla one, but the plus one.

IpsDisplay, 20 Feb 2024I swear the A50 series from Samsung has this cult following I swear you know nothing nothing about smartphone ... you just repeat what others say !
The Galaxy A55 is buimt of metal and bot plastic lile any other A series, plus the exynos 1480 is promising a lot according to notebookcheck unlike exynos found in flagship : the exynos midranger never overheat !
    Keep that in your mind

          rizki1, 20 Feb 2024my old Redmi Note 10 5G with Dimensity 700 reaches 121h end... more121 Hr endurance with old dimensity 700
          Hmm, I wonder why....
Maybe It has something to do with Redmi note 10 5g having a mere 500 nits max brightness ? or could it be that Dimensity 700 being at a max TDP of 6W at less than half the performance of 7200 yet its still powered by a 5000mAh battery ?

Nothing CEO Carl Pei has outright stated that the Phone (2a) will not be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7200 SoC, contradicting countless rumors we've heard over the past few weeks."

Well I guess he thinks he is being clever or hey if Elon can do it so can I.

I'm feeling somewhat jovial aside from the fact I stated and POSTED Dimensity 8300 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

I am not confused, confusingly why is the comparison made to the Nothing phone (1) when the Nothing phone (2) is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which I based my WRONG TOTALLY MESSED UP FLAWED PREDICTION UPON.

I pulled the earlier post as I used the wrong SoC.

Eerie feeling a comment no text, that has absolutely nothing, zip, nada on the article. Wow I mean you could literally just text on anything and everything, without any cellular (activity) knowledge whatsoever. Too subtle?

Darth Caesium, 20 Feb 2024So you're saying that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 ... moreNo 778G was more efficient but that's because of worse core in 8 gen 1 A710/A510 which are less efficient than A78.

To get Apple to Apple comparison compare sd 888 vs 778G and you can see they are almost same efficient wise, 888 use old 5nm process which is equivalent of 6nm, current 4nm of Samsung is better than 6nm of Tsmc.

BTW you can compare yourself here

Click first button untick all soc then chose 888 and 778G

                I will post substantively later

It is still coming with a Dimensity 7200 after all.

welp, was expecting 8200 or 8300

"some of our engineers never worked with mediatek before"

Such a tragic statement the monopoly is so deep see yet another reason it's been an uphill battle to get more mediatek chipsets out there

                        It's also a skill/familiarity issue

I think the upcoming Galaxy A55 will be a real competitor ... in term of build quality, camera, SoC and price !

(Exynos 1480 is promising a lot of features : ISP, Sound, performance and power efficiency)

                            Watchout and stay tuned !

Yeah, it isn't the Dimensity 7200, because it's the 7200 Pro.. same thing, but it's marketing, so they have to make buyers think that they are different. Notice how they didn't compare the standard 7200 with the Pro version of it, but instead with the Snapdragon 778G+, weird huh.
