Meanwhile players like oppo have dedicated chipsets and entire circuitry (heat sensors etc)built to have the phone have way more charge cycles (1600) at faster speeds
WITH battery replacement offers!
I forgot to mention they even go as far as dual cell battery configuration

I used iphone models, and their battery is bad. They even slower down my phone for longer battery life. So i switched to 200-300€ androids, all have 5000 mah and faster charging than iphone, and i dont care how i charging them, cause i switch phone after 1-2 years.

While my girlfriend iphone 14 pro takes ages to charge ( nearly 1h and 40m ) my Vivo X80 Pro is ready to go in 28minutes from 0 to 100%.
People blabbing about battery degradation, well my vivo last more or less the same it used to last when it was new, and most likely when battery starts to fade, i bet the iphone of my girlfriend will too, but still charge slow as hell.
Keep on going apple, i can't really understand how people can buy such expensive crap, same with samsung lately, though at least they are still trying to push some innovation, there are way better options for that.
Shame on Huawei ban, though Honor is really catching up.

Still it's a Lithium battery and will have "ok" lifespan. Unless Apple plans to use new (not new really) battery tech. I'm not talking about the Solid state battery. I'm talking about the "Nuclear battery" that last up to 1000 years (yes, that is the number) without re-charging or what so ever. You people can search for it be it on web or YouTube. China manager to produce it for commercial used (coming soon). Now that what we're waiting for. 1000 years of power 😎

That's hardly anything to boast about
Apple claims then batteries retain "upto 80 percent" after 1000 cycles, meanwhile chinese phone companies offer substantially faster charging speeds and also claim that batteries on their phones will retain "at least 80 percent" capacity after a thousand or even 1600 cycles. Chinese phones have battery protections at hardware and software level, for safety and battery longevity. High end Chinese phones even have fast wireless charging. Now I don't care about fast or wireless charging but just saying how rapidly some companies are working on phone batteries, meanwhile some phones are still stuck with basic batteries with lower lifespan, and basic 60 hz display refresh rates
Thr battery replacement also costs lesser on Chinese phones. Apple really lags far behind in that area. The replacement cost of iPhone batteries is very high too. When it comes to smartphone batteries, apple has a long, long way to go and the competition is far ahead

I've read that iPhone 14 series had reduced battery lifespan compared to the iPhone 13 Series.
I suppose Apple did it to cut costs.
I think its true since the 13 Pro Max has held up better than the 14 Pro Max.
