Phantom Ensemble, 21 Feb 2024lost me at Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and 2MP helper.Soc is fine for mid range phone but those added bad cameras is just terrible.

Oems should just drop those low quality cameras or just increase the price a little and add proper one.

I have Samsung Galaxy Flip 5 which i am going to use for a while(maybe late 2024 or little longer) and hope there will be more options in the future.

Issue with foldables is that the screen protector will start to wear and unless you replace it(Samsung is giving only 1 free replacement for the first year) it will break the screen.

I am waiting for rollable phones which should not have that issue.

Like if it wasn't already cheap enough at $400 and now, pre-orders get a nearly half the price discount. What even is ZTE thinking? Are they really that desperate to sell?

It's nice to see the foldable market going down in price, but as a fold 5 user I really don't understand the strategy these brands are taking. Foldables are still a durability concern and without proper care services there aren't many willing to boluy them, that's why Samsung has the monopoly and that's why I also chose them, you can fix any problems easily and they also have a long history with foldables already. Seeing brands like ZTE coming out with a foldable at that price seems really suspicious and raises concerns about the durability

lost me at Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and 2MP helper.

Japan is a magical land where all your dreams can come true. My reaction is like that of the Japanese woman in the video. Foldables are garbage and their high prices are like armed robbery.
