I think a full fleged eink back display would be enticing for reading ebooks and lonng articles as attempted by Yota phone.

The idea is nice. I remember personally suggesting something like this many months ago.
Would also love to see this built into a protective case for a smartphone. That way the creative design would be on a super sturdy body.

Ah c'mon, no need to pixelate out the e-ink display- wait is that actually how it looks?

Man Or A Monster, 27 Feb 2024I'm not interested because I will likely put a case on... morethen you lack imagination. let's say if you want to change colors to your desire. you wouldn't want to buy another case, right? your comment reminds me of some oppo and vivo users. where they buy attractive looking phones with crap specs. then covered up by ugly childish cases.

would never put any case on it though. this is just impressive. just hoping it will have the same specs as gt 10 pro. or maybe higher for longevity. all i need is 3.5mm jack on a smartphone. i wouldn't want to buy another earphone or dongle just for a new device. couldn't care less about sd slots because android's new file system is just flakey when accessing sd card especially on android 13 or 14.

Are you sure the inventer researchers are not Japanese.

During the Redmi 2S/ 2 Prime days in 2014, we used to buy different coloured plastic panels which were easily replaceable, all in 135 grams of an Android phone.
But then it was a time of user-replaceable battery as well, not just panels... long gone.

This seems like unnecessary complication of a simple concept, although its good to brag about for a while.

Just infinix thing. Spend RnD budget on something less practical than let's say, OS optimization.

Zero 40 pro or Note 40 pro?

Alright guys just hear me out

Maybe the colour changing back is the first step to introducing camouflage technology on smartphones

So maybe they are testing on the phones back FIRST but then in the future it will be on cases

Just trust me on this one guys 🙏 just trust the process

Or maybe it's something more sinister what if they are going to count these square colors as VIRTUAL pixels on the back

AND THEN LABEL THE CAMERAS AS 108 MP + 8(+8 virtual pixel) + 2(+ 8 virtual pixels)

                                      😨 😱

That's an unique innovation imo, and Infinix played their card really well this time. Interesting!
