Just wondering if anybody else experienced this. Whether there's a way to adjust the control centre on Redmi Note 12.. HyperOS updated, it doesn't look the same like others. It's smaller

Can anyone assist me with Redmi Note 12? I updated to HyperOs but the control centre is smaller than normal. It doesn't fill out the whole edge of the screen

I updated my Xiaomi 12 lite this morning and all my apps that needed to use camera is not working (FB, Messenger, IG, YouTube [for livestream], Tiktok, and even Google using camera for searching) but the camera phone itself is working perfectly fine. me hyper, 28 Feb 2024poco x6 pro user here, hyper os nothing special compare to ... moreThe software seems not be optimized well in POCO X6 pro yet. X6P have a very strong SoC on its class, however seems not really supported by a good cooling system. Do heavy gaming on it without cooling fan just making the SoC dying sooner.

Currently I am staying with Android 12 for almost all Xiaomi phones in my family: Redmi Note 10 Pro (not sure will get HOS), Redmi Note 12 Pro, Poco F3 (not sure will get), Mi 12T.

potato4k, 28 Feb 2024It's nothing special because it's basically MiUI ... moreIt may look like it's just MIUI 15 but it's totally different. This is lighter than MIUI. Honestly the smoothness of the UI will impress you. I have been a long-standing user of Mi devices but this update made it way better. Well I am not gonna talk bout the customisations, many youtubers have done that in their channel just watch that for reference.

I have a xiaomi 11t and I got the update a few days ago. That feels like a repost of old news since Xiaomi is posting that for almost a year now.

Chieksty, 27 Feb 2024Xiaomi methods of os distribution is very poor not to talk ... moreThen stick to Samsung. Nobody is forcing you to buy a Xiaomi.

Loads of bugs with Samsungs android 14 release for several devices, so sometimes slow and steady is better than rushed and buggy.

If anything it is Google's software distribution that should be criticized. Windows 11 gets installed on countless combinations of HW, and works and is Windows 11 on pre-builts from manufacturer A, B, C and so on, as well as DIY.

Android has to go through smartphone manufacturers and can be quite different from maker to maker. Custom UI on top should not limit broad releases the way it does. Especially since they get 6-10 months of preview before official launch. This is a clear flaw of android version upgrades, as well as security patches.
