It is funny they only share release, but no security updates and/or fixes of bugs introduced and further development.

Just got mine yesterday on my Redmi Note 11 Pro China variant! Very nice OS 👍

My wife just got HyperOS on her 11T. I assume my Mi 11 will get before the end of March.

Already on HyperOs, og Redmi pad.. Everything works fine

Creepyzebra, 27 Feb 2024Aah yes update your phone to android 14 when other phone ge... moreit's an old method they use, samsng used to do it but since huawei was eating them they had to start imitating the extended support thing!! and it's good that they did it and good for google, xiaomi needs to do that too! the 14 ultra vera android 15 within a year

they did not update or postpone the update of the 13 ultra to wait for the 14 ultra to come out globally to see if some sales were up hahaha, it's not that they are going to sell many cell phones and less at those prices! to pay more than 1000 better an iphone and between 800 and 950 dollars for a gaalxy and you are safe for several years..

Aah yes update your phone to android 14 when other phone gets android 15 . But something is better than nothing

I wish they focused on more meaningful updates. The Redmi K60 pro was their highest positioned and most expensive phone last year in their Redmi lineup in China. There was no update to optimise the camera processing at all. The only camera update added filters but no optimization. The hdr video had major problems from launch. Did they even try to fix it? No. Yes the phone has been updated to Hyper OS but this basically makes little difference apart from aesthetics and introducing a really annoying bug with frequent 5g disconnection that wasn't there before. More meaningful updates to optimize the phone, cameras and fix bugs would be far more useful in improving the phone. Motorola gets a lot of criticism here but I had the edge s before this (and still have it) and that got 10 updates with huge change logs, new features, bug fixes and every single update had camera optimisations (it was bad for Android updates but the optimisation updates are far more useful). 10 updates optimizing cameras (you can check the update history with changelog on motorola China hones) versus 1 camera update that just added filters on the Redmi K60 pro. The k60 pro is definitely the worst phone I've ever used in terms of meaningful updates (basically since April last year it has only been security patches apart from the Android+hyper os update). I also had the Oppo Reno 10x zoom before the edge s and that was far far better for updates as we're previous Huawei and Honor phones I used. I don't care too much about these miui/hyper os updates as Hyper OS hasn't made any difference to my user experience. Just give regular updates that improve the user experience instead of just security patches.

My little sister's Redmi Note 12 4G got HyperOS with Android 14 a few weeks ago.. a very big update 4.4GB.

Damn curious to see how big of an effect HyperOS will have on my Xiaomi 12, since there are some annoying glitches I've stumbled across MIUI

Anton el .PAPI, 27 Feb 2024it's disgusting to see that on 13 ultra, a phone that ... moreWhat does the base android update give you that you need it more then the abilities the phone offer you ?

it's disgusting to see that on 13 ultra, a phone that came for 1500 dollars still does not have android 14, and android 15 is already announced around the corner!! so this company wants to sell? it is no surprising that samsung and apple lead the market and the pixels are taking a little of that market too
