It will work with non-Samsung phones eventually, though.

Persuade your fiancé to switch from iPhone to Samsung, and this could be her wedding ring.

Darth Caesium, 01 Mar 2024No. My point is that it won't be compatible with iOS. ... moreWorking around apple isn’t fun. What do they do make an app just for apple phones just to access your data? How do you access your data in an apple? Apple deserves nothing. And I hate smartwatches just a second screen nuisance. But I want the features of health monitoring and have tiny wrists. My only option is a smart ring which I want. Thank you Samsung.

Anonymous, 01 Mar 2024Can we also have galaxy fleshlights as well? I want everyth... moreWe already have galaxy fleshlights, kinda. There's macro stuff of furries doing it to the earth

I'd like to have a "smart" ring so I can monitor my heart and sleep and still wear my classic mechanical watches. I really like AOD on my Galaxy Watch 4, but it's still static. There is just something mesmerizing about the way a second hand is ticking around the dial on mechanical watches and even more so with skeleton or open heart watches where you see the actual cogs moving. I miss that, but I want to monitor my body at the same time. Issue is that Samsung Ring is going to be very expensive and have stupid Samsung-esque things, being locked to Samsung devices is one of things, similar to how it is with Galaxy Watches that don't have ECG on non Samsung phones for some absurd reason. I'm really going to just wait for Xiaomi in the end. It'll be reasonably priced and it'll work really well. I have the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro and while it has rubbish AOD mode and silly watch faces management with locked built-in watch faces that can't be uninstalled, the design of everything else is really good. Great monitoring, clever power management that's better than on Galaxy Watch (like, how GW4 doesn't have scheduled AOD and I have to manually turn it off every evening I go to bed?). Xiaomi Ring will probably cost under 100€ and it'll do its job great I'm sure of that. Come on Xiaomi, doooooo it!

Neither are any of the Galaxy Watches. So, what's the big deal?

So you use Samsung ecosystem while keeping the same freedom of android. Much better than Apple.

Nowhere does it say that and if it were relevant switching would have taken place with the Samsung watch

apple ring is on the way so,iphone users will not use samsung product. that would be a waste of resources. skipping ios support is a reasonable move.

Samsung may be a little bit overconfident if they think an iPhone user would switch to Samsung just because of this ring.
