I hate Apple as much as the next person on GSMArena does, but this to me just seems like a way to punish Apple users to entice them to purchase an Android phone, and preferably one that Samsung makes since it won't be immediately available for all Android devices. This is against open standards. If I for whatever reason really wanted a Samsung Ring (which I don't because I find smart rings to be a stupid concept that is also too expensive) and had an Apple device (again, not something I'd ever do), I quite frankly should be able to use it on my device. In fact, I bought it, so I should be able to use it without any problems, and a problem artificially created like this one from greed shouldn't be tolerated by anyone.
