Anonymous, 09 Jun 2013why do people want a stock android? the only benefits i see... moreto be fair, out of the box touchwizz on the s4 is a little slow, but mainly because of all the sensors and stuff running, i found that when i got mine out the box, it was eating up ram terrible, and home screen jumps were slow, so disabling apps and features did speed it up no end, occasionally there still was a 0.5 second delay but this is because i run my s4 in power saving mode nearly all the time, but with moderate use i get 2 days use out if it this way, but like you i also skinned go launcher with some wicked customization and features and it does run like a dream now, i also have some proper power and app management apps to properly close stuff down and its brill, cant wait for apps to sd, it will make a big difference

You are not readin... morewhile you do make a fair point, im a samsung owner and that article is only a analysts view, and stock prices have been affected accordingly on the whole situation. but people are not buying because of expectation, people are not buying for numerous reasons.
I work in a phone store and this is my experience on the s4 sales, 1, the s3 is VERY cheap now and most of the stuff on s4 will be or can be ported down, only a few specific things cannot be due to sensors etc. products, many people who come in to my shop are confused about which s4 to buy because they here about all the different variants, this is a bad move by samsung, should of held off releasing/announcing so many s4 models, (active, zoom, mini,) and competition is fierce this year there will be plenty of people who went for htc, or sony, and many will go straight from s3 to note 3 because the s4 is seen as an upgrade rather then a new device.
but this hit is either a plus or a negative for samsung, ways to re attract customers, bigger base storage, less bloatware, new design, 1 super device a year rather then iterations every few months, and better build quality, personally i actually really like plastics, but there are many that seem not to, fair enough.

Samsung update the S4 to support SD card cause of less storage 9 GB, the reason why SD card not support it anymore cause it does effect the whole performance of the phone that's why Nexus comes with built in storage.

rj23, 09 Jun 2013I think it won't be possible to make a Lumia phone named af... moreyou are right, that it wont be possible right now, mainly because Microsoft paid $1 Billion to Nokia for a 5 year exclusivity deal to produce Nokia windows phones, with Symbian being phased out of existing handsets. this deal is due to run till around 2016, im not a Nokia fan but by all accounts Nokia are now making money again and depending on how well the partnership is going i would speculate that they will attempt to broker another deal in 2014/15, Google just was not a viable option for Nokia financially, without Microsoft they would have folded.

LOl Samsung think they are the only one the S4 Nexus and here we go HTC one Nexus and upcoming Xperia Z Nexus and i think soon we are going to see LG optimus g Nexus not sure cause LG already build the Nexus 4.

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2013So, now that Google is has successfully got all the flag sh... moreI think it won't be possible to make a Lumia phone named after Google since Lumia only deals with Windows platform and Google is the company that owns the Android platform. Nokia hasn't even produced one android phone model so we'll unlikely see your phone concept yet but who knows? I really hope Nokia will be able to produce a high end Android device that can match the very demanding war between OEMs but I should say Nokia has a very good line of Lumia Windows phones! :)

Samsung's Galaxy S4 line is starting to slow down. The reason is because not a lot of people believed that GS4 was able to meet their expectations. At least Z was more successful and is continuously doing good in the market. The Z is a big jump from last years dual core flagships from Sony and Z was even the first to come out with a 1080p screen resolution internationally coz HTC Droid DNA was only launched in the US with Verizon but Z was the first to become available than the Butterfly. Now if you don't believe it here's the related article to Samsung's threatening downfall.

Just hope that the Note 3 will bring them up again coz as far as the newly rumored devices that are about to come out won't be anywhere near the specs of Sony's Honami and Togari.

the only thing i don't like about sony xperia z is the display. it may be 1080p display with 440 ppi but the viewing angles are rubbish and black looks like grey. s4's amoled and one's sLCD 3 are much better.

why do people want a stock android? the only benefits i see from it are faster updates and slightly smoother experience. Other than that, it has no features just like an iphone.
I've had my S4 for 3 weeks now, the stock launcher was a little bit laggy so i replaced it with Nova Launcher which never laggs. The phone feels like stock android now but with the extra features.
Along with a micro SD card, and an update coming up which lets apps to be installed to the SDcard, then i pretty much have the perfect phone for me.
