How many out of that billions of people are in this site complaining about the microSD card slot in phones ? Also if the billions of people want the microSD card slot then phone brands would know it and have the slot for phones cause market demands it.
Also why i dont understand the need of SD card slot is that nobody even in here can give a reasonable argument for the need of the microSD card slot.

My Redmi Note 10 Pro 'bricked' yesterday, black screen, totally unresponsive, won't connect with pc through usb. Had to buy a new phone. Any idea if Xiaomi is compensating owners?

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2024'I dont really understand the people who complain ever... moreSame. When I take pictures, I back up them to the SD card and I copy them elsewhere later for extra security. Even sideloaded APKs and/or config files for them (Google camera ports and their configuration files, same for the configuration of those apps that allow to back it up) go there

Feeling bad for those (few) MiUi users. Shame on Xiaomi software team. I am glad my 13 Pro was updated to HyperOS. Was reading similar issues by users on apkmirror who updated MiUi with system apps meant for HyperOS. But this was done my Xiaomi developers.

Yet Samsung knights keeps on arguing about having long OS update is a good thing. This isn't the first time software updates can cause bootloop. Any Huawei Nexus 6P and LG G4 owners can relate.

I'm running HyperOS (xiaomi.eu) on my Redmi Note 13 Pro. It's a bug fest, and updates only come every 2-3 months, so you're stuck with them for ages.
For example, some apps are very slow to launch and are very sluggish (email apps including FairEmail and Outlook), the Play Store listed updates to certain Xiaomi apps (Mi Video, etc) but the updates continually failed to install (this may just be an .eu bug), and the recent apps menu will sometimes fail to display options when I long press on an app (eg. to go into app info; though I'm using Nova Launcher, which might be responsible).
I've debated selling the RN13P and getting a secondhand S22, but the Exynos chip, 3,700mAh battery and 25W charging put me off.

Have you ever taken the time to consider, with billions of smartphone users, that there exist multiple sets of people with different thought process and preferences and not like how you view them to be?
With the exception of a tablet, I always bought ones with jacks and sd card slots. Unlike the Samsung users here who sold out along with their fave brand.

Then it's the users' fault lmao. Kinda like saying extra devices (laptops) and external drives (hdd/ssd) are useless if users don't make an effort to manually back up. And if they want to save directly, careful considerations about the class/speed should be taken depending on whether they will use 1080p or 4k.

My sister's Xiaomi faced bootloop too after an update. Go for Samsung. Zero bootloop. Using 3 years now.
