A factory reset is the only available fix for now.

In my last phone i had microSD card slot and i used it with my old phones microsd card that was half full of music. I never moved files to microSD in my phone. I few times tried OTG with usb stick but i dont like that i need to move the files from stick to a phone to see them so i dont use it a lot too.

So if people dont move the pictures all the time then these are lost with this situation anyways.

I just dont hold pretty much anything on my phone and have lots of backups on my important files. Also i wait a bit of time before i install new updates. To first see if there are problems.

I dont really understand the people who complain everywhere that they need microSD card and also need more then 3 OS updates but then use any phone for a year and change to new one and also complain that no microSD

If this plugin came through the system apps updater (not GetApps or manually from APKMirror), I got to update it such way in an old Redmi Note 8 Pro running MIUI 12 (not 12.5, it does not update to it) and to date everything is OK.

It's odd, and it quite sucks they don't go beyond an apology knowing how much data has been lost, moreso in phones with no microSD slot to backup there pictures.

That's what happens when you release a zillion different models with confusing names every year. No resorces to properly software support all of them.

Djnady99, 04 Mar 2024that is why, u need sd card slot or else u would loose all ... moreFools justifying that 128gb is enough (and microsd cards are a thing of the past) forget that they do not even have 128gb out of the box. Then you have future updates from the maker along with third party apps and their personal files taking even more space.
Now it's bye bye for them.

That's why I don't recommend updating phones if it's not necessary. There can be more bugs and compatibility issues with every new update. I have a Mi 10 Pro and I never updated it and still runs fine without any major problems. The only bug I encounter every few weeks is the launcher freezes and I can't close apps, after reboot everything works perfectly again.

this is why backing up your phone to the cloud, a PC, or some external media is always recommended. You shouldn't rely on only one way to store your data, its a terrible idea.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2024Just wait till your phone gets bricked by an update and all... moreThat is the risk of all the phone brands updates. No brand is safe with it. We have seen it happen on iphones several times. Even updates that are made to slow your phone down with a hope these people buy new phone cause there old one got slow after update.

Also you got to do more to offend people. I am not so soft that i be offended for being called a fanboy that is specifically written by you to be offensive.
