On paper it looks good. My only complaints are regarding the position of the volume buttons and the missing 3,5 jack (yes, yes I know: new trends and I can use type-C adapter for this but still...)

I would buy it. Are there other better value midrangers? For sure, but personally I'm hooked on the design and their OS, so the experience alone is worth it. And I like owning things that are a conversation starter.

Why can't most manufacturers just stick with 2 x 50MP Sensors for their ultrawide and 2x Zoom, and use digital zoom for the bits in between. Also, larger sensors, OIS and brighter lenses should help with getting much better pics. Pixels and Samsung A-Series should also follow this equation.

Looks like a decent enough phone, but too big. And Carl has publicly said that they have no intention of making a smaller phone so, unless that changes, all nothing phones will continue to be a no buy for me.

A decent enough budget phone but with a sub-par camera experience and a mediatek chip which puts me off. Does look decent though.

I already did on day 1 (March 5) with #The100 here in MiddleEast and to be honest, it might become phone of the year with this price and performance. A superb upper level midrange with every new feature you need. Feel free to ask any questions regarding experience of using Nothing Phone 2a and CMF Buds.

With other brands out there that offer better mid range options at mostly the same price then there is likely no reason to buy the Nothing Phone (2a) unless you like the Nothing brand and their products.

Not for that price. In Eu you can buy the Poco x6 12/256gb for like 80€ less. And it has headphone jack and fast charget in the box. And if you want better "gaming" performance the X6 pro is about the same price as this or 20€ cheaper.

this does seem interesting, i just picked a redmi note 13 pro for a little under £300 though so it's out too late for me.

Unfortunately, it's too big for me. Probably I would think about purchasing if it was of the size of regular S24 or at least Xiaomi 13/14. But in its current size - no way.

Would not buy, poor value for money. Prefer Moto at such price point. Comes with fast charger instead of a flashing gimmick.

There are all the way better midrangers out there, of course. This nothing phone is too minimalistic and even poor, both in design and features. i don't get it.
Btw congrats gsma on recovering from ddos attack. The site is fast now.

What, 10 Mar 2024Exactly. If you can afford flagship don't even think a... morebecause flagships suck after the honeymoon phase. I'd rather buy this and keep an RX 100 in my other pocket. A 1 inch sensor that can go to 200 mm right in my pocket unlike the heavily compromised photos from phones nowadays. Smoothness is something that's not going to be flagship tier but it's good enough and flagships are vastly overrated nowadays.

Since when did "designed in London" became a selling point?
