If stock android were better or favoured by majority, pixel may be number 1 best selling by now. But in reality only small number people use motorola/sony/pixel.

The biggest group of Android phone is OneUI /Samsung user.

        A51 -> 172 g
        A54 -> 202 g
        A55 -> 212 g
        and €500 for a smartphone with a SOC based on Cortex A78 ...

          Yeah! I think they are overpriced.

            Exynos 1x80 series are the most boring, least improving chipsets series I've seen in years. Since Exynos 1080 to Exynos 1480, there has hardly been any improvement. And if anyone says, "but there have been many performance jumps". Yes, there were, but 1080 was so bad all the improvements just make it underwhelming at best even in its current 4th generation.

                      I mean the phones are "ok", the real problem are the prices.

                      Prices are the reason why the A series gets less relevant.

                      A55 starts at 480 euro, A54 is here now at 310 euro, S23 FE starts at 520 euro, S23 starts at 598 euro and OnePlus 12R starts at 640 euro.

                      Price of the A series is the real issue.

                        At that price of A55 just buy the S22 if you want a Samsung phone.. If it's A35, it's better to just buy Nothing Phone (2a) or Redmi Note 13 Pro.

Now the MicroSD is missing and they ask 50 or more for 128 GB or ROM and graciously throw an extra 2-4 Gb of RAM, which cost peanuts today.

                                Way to go Samsung, A55 is too pricy. Hence the promotion upon launch 😬

                                  213 grams is a huge weight. For the Ultra in get it(all the tech inside, bigger etc), but this onebis a joke.

                                    Even last year's Galaxy A54 gets support until Android 17.

                                      6.4 inch is alreay big enough to handle.
