Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 rumored to be quite expensive in India

Hopefully this doesn't pan out, but if it does - Samsung has its work cut out getting these in the hands of many.

      Yeah, AS WELL*, meaning they ALSO last long, just like chinese phones, software updates aren't the make or break of a long lasting phone. Both software and hardware are important, but if the software is well optimized to begin with, then it can last, my 2021 Tecno Camon 18 Premier is still doing perfectly fine even though it's on Android 12. However if the hardware can't handle the software, no matter how fresh and new it is, it's not gonna last.

            Seems like Samsung is charging for the 5 years of software support, at this point. Cause with those prices you'd think there's like Snapdragon 7 gen 3. In there..... but nope. They're saving costs by putting their own worse chips in there that nobody else uses

                People here buy FE series for a price much lower than that A55 shouldn't even exist. It's too expensive for what its offering.

So 2 Years SW update and 3 years Sec update is about right for a sub ₹25K phone. Sub 30K -3 y SW update and 4 y Sec. And so on.

                              What is midrange price today> €300, €350, €400...........€500?

                              Everything above should be in toned-down flagships (OnePlus 12R, NothingPhone 2...) and A35 and A55 are definitely not in the league there. Hope Samsung will experience the biggest failure with expected/achieved sales and get back to the usual root of having the A5x series around €300.
