Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 rumored to be quite expensive in India

Hopefully this doesn't pan out, but if it does - Samsung has its work cut out getting these in the hands of many.

I'm not from India but it seems from comments that these are unnecessarily expensive compared to the competition. However perhaps Samsung will offer some deals to bring the price down to where it should be, to give people the impression they got a good deal??

Here in Europe it's also increased. However it is still good value when you take into account warranty, walk-in same day service for repairs, large amount of accessories and 4 years OS updates. No one else apart from Apple can offer that.

You can buy a Xiaomi, RealMe, Oppo etc but you will not find a single accessory (eg a case) for them, only get 1 year warranty and no repair service. You have to go to a 3rd party repair guy you find on the street and he likely does not use genuine parts and you'll lose your water resistance.

If you want a case you need to order from AliExpress and wait weeks for it to arrive and the quality is normally not great.

Maybe in India it's different but here in the EU Samsung is the best choice.

                  The cameras and the SoC are nowhere near flagship level. I do however agree, the build quality is awesome and definitely flagship level, but otherwise it's not competitive, especially not in India.

                  The Infinix Zero 30 is about half the price in India from Flipkart, you lose software updates, IP67 rating, and the aluminum frame. In exchange you get a more capable ultrawide camera, better display and likely a better SoC, considering the D8020 is that much better than Exynos1380.

                  Rs.22990, so about 278 usd.

                    Way overpriced as usual, like everywhere else. You can buy a phone from pretty much any brand in India, and Samsung just doesn't make any sense.

                      The price may seem high but then again, it's aluminium frame, GG Victus front and back, IP67, and 5 years of updates.

                      If it is the other brands, it will be positioned as flagship.

                        The comments here make anyone laugh hahaha they talk as if Samsung were the only mask sold in India or anywhere else in the world hahaha

                            If you buying a samsung in India, just go straight to the ULTRA flagship,it's more VFM, other samsung lower/uppermidrangers are not worth it at all.

                              It's not justified in this price

                                samsung s23fe is selling for 42000 inr. no point in buying a55 then. one plus 12r with d 8 gen 2 is also selling for 40000 inr.

                                  This is absurd pricing. Better to buy other brands.

                                    What's wrong with samsung? They need to higher some good team in india... buds fe launched in india at 10k price and that time buds 2 pro was available at 6000 rs. Now s23 fe is available at 40k and they are launching A series at 42k...

                                      Im from india and samsung should take these phones back .the price is unnecessarily high.even sd 8 series processor are available at this price and this trash selling for that amount is stupidity at its peak.

                                        I hope Samsung suffers from its imbecilic tactics and this forces them to change.
