It might be an unexpected reason, but it makes perfect sense.

I certainly don't buy in to Samsung's seven years of OS update for S24 series, especially since Samsung do have the habit of artifically slowing down non-flagship phones after new OS update. S23 series is still a monster to own regardless of models.

So it seems like taking things out of context is all you can do. It's not that hard to quote something, here I'll help you with it:

"Read before you post. Search before you post. Your question is probably already answered"

That's how it's complete, otherwise it has a different meaning, oddly convenient for you.

Samsung does not sell more phones than Chinese brands, they've been taken over by others in many regions, also, a few chinese brands have one parent company (oppo, iqoo, real me, oneplus, vivo) so combined, their sales are bigger

Here i go again. It's a terrible deal in Europe also because if you search a bit you can find the S23 and S23FE for 500 and even below that.

The s23 and s23fe are so expensive in my country, why would the usa have it so much more cheaper, hey samsung....anyways gonna go for the nothing phone one cos its drastically reduced...

In the US, you can get the S23FE for FREE with contract. Meanwhile, prepaid users is less likely to purchase phones that are $400-$500 outright. So the A55 really has no place in the US market

Especially when it comes to it's almost twice as powerful chipset, LTPO display, and way better ultrawide/macro camera.

The A35 isn't faster than the A34 at all, quite the opposite, the A34 was/is faster than both the A35 and the A54, not to hate on any Exynos chipset, but the Dimensity 1080 despite it's lower benchmark scores than the Exynos 1380, is a much more stable and overall better chipset.

Okay genius, so you tell me why Samsung isn't going to bring the A55 to the US, if you know it so much better. They said it themselves they want people to buy last year's flagship S23 instead. Why would Samsung want customers to buy their older phones instead of their newer ones, when software updates are clearly so important for them, and the A55 is going to get more? Clearly so people get hooked on to the S series, and keep buying the better, but much more expensive phones in the future.
