And besides, would a 120hz iPhone 14 or 15, or even 16 with a starting storage of 256gb get you to switch?

Most of the complaints on here about HRR or ram or storage are from those who have no interest in owning an iPhone anyway.

      I really don't care. UFS 4.0 is 256GB and up so I have nothing to worry about.
      I just hope Apple continues this trend because I like to see i🐏 suffer from their choices.

          Well that's the entry model. If it was the iphone pro series. It will start at 256GB. And the Highest is 1TB.

          Might see a new trend in the coming years. 512GB as the lowest. 1TB Mid. And 2TB for Highest.

            I've been rocking 256GB + 1 TB for years now. 128GB is abysmal.

Most of Apple's numbers come from US customers. And if it's their best model, they can make it better with 120hz. Overdue upgrade. Should've come in the 14 base models

                    For us who enjoy tech enough to be here on such a forum, 128GB may not be enough. But we are in the minority of users. I can speak from experience working in a phoneshop, the average person who uses whatsapp, facebook and maybe a few games etc. doesn't use anywhere near 128GB, most not even half.

                      Meanwhile even low end Android phones are coming with 256GB. Apple things.

                              For this to 'not be allowed' I'd first have to see Apple goon squads forcing the general public into the nearest apple store, and then blocking any means of escape until they have bought a 128gb base storage iPhone. Anyone got any links to stories where that has actually happened?

                                128 GB is sufficient for a lot of people but anything that costs $500, it's just greedy when they don't even have a micro SD slot. Users either have to comprise, buy their cloud storage or ofc upgrade the phone when storage runs out

                                  128GB may be enough for certain people, but in this age 128GB on a 700+ dollar phone should not be allowed.
