        because puting On Device processed features under a subscription would be the most idiot thing I've seen

On the contrary, it uses less information. IIRC, Apple states that the Face ID with a mask is less accurate than the normal Face ID.

                why samsung has a big problem to insert the translation to all the languages you need,,say before this update,,in the samsung internet application there was serbian language for page translation, also in the keyboard, now this is useless for many of us who use it ,or to translate messages while typing,, so the only option is the microsoft keyboard which supports most languages, samsung internet is useless now

I mean if the camera sensors weren't accurate enough to decect face with cam its a good thing they didn't do it. Face id isn't the most secure as is after all.

                        Anonymous, 27 Mar 2024I've yet to use the "AI" features of my S24 Ultra The chipset isn't the entire hardware. They released the s23 in late 2023. By that point they al;ready knew what direction they would take with the S24 so they probably had that in mind.
                        I dont believe it's in their best interest to not include ai to the older models. They want to advertise these features to as broad of an audience as possible so more people end up buying it once they paywall rises.

                              Honestly, I prefer samsung over apple (for my needs) any day but even I'm not this ignorant to the fact that apple has been by far the superior one when it comes to updates (be it software or security). Only now is samsung catching up and that's because of the competition they had with google regarding software support so im sure they'd give us like 3 updates max if thius weren't the case

All the rest has been Samsung's own features. Google pendants were often introduced after Samsung's, mor even do not exist yet.
