I had an A7 2016 for about 7 years and only got one OS upgrade and about 3 security updates. That's one of the reasons why I ditched Samsung.

        Cut with the bullshit... listening to customers would be the last thing on your list. It's all about churning out half baked updates to break or cripple an otherwise usable phone only to persuade users to buy new phones.
        People care about removable batteries, headphones jack and good old cardslots for expandable storage. Got balls to re-introduce?
        Ofcourseno cuz nobody would buy their buds and higher storage models. It's all about milking the customers. Parasitic companies really

                  At first ask your self why Samsung giving lot worse specs comapred to price than chinese phone makers and they include all major and neccesary accesories in box unlike Samsung.
                  You can say Samsung is quality but many topics ion theses pages proves opposite and even Samsung acknowledges that.
                  Quality brand does not exist apart Vertu.
                  All phone brands are more or less expensive but low cost phones contains zero quality phone usually dies before end of warranty and high end phones will start malfunctiion afer several years if you update everything weekly and you use your phone for more than just most basic tasks like calls, text and camera.

                    7 years of update gives better value to phone in long term. So,you can still consider buying an s24 in 2027 instead of a new midranger. Older flagship will be a better purchase.

                          the x100 ultra will destroy samsung in pretty much all aspects, x100 pro already doing it in many
                          i have a x90 pro+ and i'm someone who had samsung for 10 years, vivo is just superior on so many things, these guys are still trying unlike lazy samsung
                          the only thing samsung is better than vivo is marketing

                            And I don't remember find x7u / x100 crashed during 3D tests or so. And about keeping apps in background, I don't remember where you saw such a thing. In phonebuff's speed test, the second lab where apps in background are being tested, OnePlus 12 finished 1s faster than iPhone 15pm where galaxy s24u finished 1s later than iPhone. That being said OnePlus 12 has 16G of ram not 24:) and no one keeps counting more than 10-15 apps that where tested there.

                              there is a exponential pace ahead of us. That is why they offer 7 years update . Nobody keeps their phone 7 years

                                  So, Let me repeat my powerful statements.

                                  Super Fast charging feature on chinese phone is only gimmick and useless, if it doesn't come with 7 years warranty zero case of bloating/ overheating battery.

                                  Higher sensor/ megapixel camera on chinese phone is only gimmick and useless, if it doesn't come with 7 years warranty of best quality photo shot.

                                  Higher RAM memory + powerful chipset on chinese phone is only gimmick and useless, if it doesn't come with 7 years warranty zero case of lagging/ bug software.

                                  Conclusion: all features on chinese phone is only gimmick. End of story.
