Google Pixel 8a leaks in new, clearer renders

So seemingly nothing new, and the price jump is for what? Just because why not?

    Is it possible that this phone has better camera than Pixel 7?

      No battery issue on my P8, way battery than my P6 (did not try the 7th series).

      Average consumers will not see any performance issue on the recent Pixel, they have almost bloat free stock os and 7 years of software update (hopefully the 8a too).

      I had a Samsung flip 5 recently for a bit, garbage bloated software (system UI stop randomly, too much useless feature for your average consumer...). Not a great experience.

        I'm not normally a bezel freak, but those bezels are oddly reminiscent of $150-$200 Motorola phones. I appreciate Google not jumping on the flat sides bandwagon, though (yet).

          S25 = 8GB ram

            Its leaking because nobody wants it. It's utter garbage. Bezels increased, still lame 90hz display. Tensor G3 gives Pixel 8 and 8 Pro worse battery life than their predecessors, cameras will be good but the rest of the phone will be ass and Google is gonna use AI to make the phone seen better than it actually is.

            Average consumers need to know price to performance rates. It's the only way to stop them from buying nonsense like this.

              Design below average, bezels more bad than budget device, google chip worst ever see it. How company like Google can do somethink better, just horrible. Last phone is pixel 5, it was good compact design, small bezels, late 6-7-8 just copy paste mistakes ....

                  Dear Google, please make the bezels symmetric just like iPhone XR/11. (even if it means increasing top/side bezels a bit)

                    Price is $500/€550

                      It's feels like the it's the galaxy a55(google version)
                      You just get a new design and build the worst part is tensor just like the Exynos on a55

                        I think Google should download Norton, the number of these leaks are just wow

                          Slow charging, small battery, huge bezels, overheating and throttling cpu, bad network connectivity, 90hz display, overpriced, no charger in box, etc. Complete garbage product.

                                The 5a has fewer bixels and it's not worth mentioning the chin and we're talking about a phone from several years ago... We need a strong competitor, like Huawei at the time so that others stop bothering so much
