It is pretty funny that Instagram and TikTok is almost the same. Its just a competitive issue than privacy and even quality terms of the community is bad. If they care they should ban Instagram and Twitter as well

Ah yes, so American companies can steal user data but other companies cannot! It's a problem when ByteDance does it but when Alphabet (Google) and FaceBook steals and SELL data, it's all 100% fine.
ByteDance does not sell user data, but Meta and Alphabet does. Remember the whole Facebook and Cambridge Analytica debacle in 2018/19. Even so, ByteDance (TikTok parent company) has to comply with Chinese cybersecurity laws and whatnot.
I am ashamed of my country for being hypocritical and racist. It is true some US data is stored in China but they can't sell it anyway. USA is just afraid and paranoid of China so much.
