very funny reasoning for a chinese company in whose country no free speech is allowed and is punished with imprisonment.
the whole world can confidently do without tiktok, as it only spreads mental diarrhoea anyway.

JSK888, 22 Apr 2024What's the problem with collecting my information? Eve... moreTiktok complied with US laws and even have western investors. Tiktok also hosts American data in the US.

Google, Meta and others refused to comply with China laws and host user data in China so they are banned there. But no CHN police will arrest VPN users. The hypocrisy is amazing.

The hypocrisy is unreal. US politics is basically dumping virtue signaling and gaslighting on the rest of the world.

Just like they screwed Huawei on false allegations while turning a blind eye to their own companies being far worse for data gathering, they're doing the same thing with Tik Tok.

Don't get me wrong, I despise social media, especially Tik Tok, but let's call a spade a spade. This is nothing but economic warfare.

Only if other countries starting ban fb , youtube and other american data collecting apps !

US with their mob boss mentality.

JSK888, 22 Apr 2024What's the problem with collecting my information? Eve... moreLet's make it fair - ban FB, Instagram, Snapchat and X too. Suddenly, the world will be a much better place.

You just have to look at Musk's refusal to remove the footage of the Sydney stabbings. People shouldn't be viewing content like that. It's not a movie. These are real people.

One of a kind paranoia towards Chinese companies..

The China has a shinier toy, and the US wants to "buy" it? I'm sure it'll be at a fair price, since the US is the poster boy for honesty, decency, fair play and a free market, and would never do anything underhanded, greedy, dishonest or antidemocratic

Western way of things is the right way.
We should not question US decision.

What's the problem with collecting my information? Even Google and Facebook knows everything about me. Google and Facebook was accused a lot of time in America for collecting users personal informations. USA is racist, because what USA says is that white people have the rights to spy on users but Asian companies cannot.
