usually companies which sells whole devices dont have spare parts.
So your casual electronic store or a computer shop dont have cables to sell just earphones or earbuds.
In case of wireles earbuds your cable version is very limited and usually not detachable only big headphones makes difference.

Funny I thought detachable cables becoming more and more cheap, mainstream, and common, as I said with my KZ EDX comment earlier.
Now this kinda take me back when I trolled my young nephew by detaching my 0.78mm cable and saying it's a TWS now! such cluelessness!

Its not something which you can plug in or out.

[deleted post]They even go as low as $5 now, KZ EDX or something comes with 0.75mm cable interface.
And this cheap turds can be turned wireless as you said with FiiO BTR and the likes. Heck if you hate the cables that much you can even get KZ TWS module for $20 or if you'd rather a neckband there's Moondrop littleblack too.

Here in Slovakia i run a phoneshop company for more than 20 years and said 20 earphones we sell last usually up to 2-3 years. Once your warranty is done for so your earphones.
Compared to that wireless earbuds for guess company for example lasted 5-6 years without issues.

Cpt.Power, 23 Apr 2024Well i can. Wireless audio from Yamaha, Senheiser, Bose, s... morethis kind of cope in unbelievable, moondrop has tried making same setup with wired/wireless configuration:
KATO and ALICE use the same driver to the point of moondrop sayig that ALICE is pretty much wireless version of KATO,
but when people tried it, they couldn't agree, ALICE is worse than KATO, period.
It's only natural, wired IEM or cans is pretty much just speaker while TWS is actually a mini computer with speaker so they got much more point of failure and limiting factor

I can understand if you cope with "At LeAZt TWS DOesN't TanGLe!!1!1 It'Z EaZIeR To caRRy!1!" but saying wireless beat wired in sound quality? that's delusional

Cpt.Power, 23 Apr 2024No i am not maybe you. Something like Bose, Yamaha and s... moreRidiculous trolling. Wired audio have "limitless" quality so you can't have the best from wireless and wired in certain price range and get better quality from wireless. Not to mention endurance. High-end wired phones have not only strong, but replaceable cables. While ultra expensive wireless still have the same crappy li-ion batteries you can find in cheapest gadgets.

My perfectly sounding $20 headphones have surely outlasted any of your headphones even if they've somehow lasted 5 years. And I don't have to babysit them constantly charging them.

you have to suffer, 23 Apr 2024cables may break if you don't use it properly. either ... moreWell i can.
Wireless audio from Yamaha, Senheiser, Bose, some JBL and Sony, HiFiMan, Abyss, Stax, Focal, Meze and several other brands are way better than most cable versions casual guy can buy.

Hope they don't overextend too fast or something. They are churning products like crazy in audio alone.

Since it not happens to you either you very super lucky or you weight maybe one quarter of average dude from US or Europe.
But first thing that breaks are cables.
Some audio especially HiFiman, Abyss, Staxxx, Meze, Yamaha, Bose some Sony, Senheiser or JBL can outlast even your desirable average alliexpress, wish, teemu gadgets like nothing.
                                    You have no idea.
Cable versions is useless and obsolette it always was just wireless version wasnt good enough. Since 2019 JBL Sports Pro 60 and few other models Wireless is always better.

Something like Bose, Yamaha and several gadgets from JBL or Sony will outpreform any cable guy in no time.
Ancient garbage technologies like wired audio, jack and pheraps SD slots are so useless in 2024. Dont understand why you brag for them if cables are first thing that breaks and nobody would fix for you.
