About 99% of Chinese users use only 5,000 apps, so Huawei will focus on those first.

Android Pixel is perfect. Calling it "cartoonish" is a great way to describe it. I'll take that as a compliment since I love cartoons and I also love Android Pixel.

Just bring native harmony os next global apps, like Facebook, whatsapp ,x etc and important games and banking apps
And i will get huawei again, still using nova 5t

Last Mate I had was the Mate 20X best optimized smartphone I ever had.

Anonymous, 23 Apr 2024Well, Harmony NEXT is gonna be even more so. That's n... morebros speaking completely out of his butt without a care. openharmony, which is what next is based on, is open source.

Finally. I hope they will release it to older phones such as the p40 series and the mate 40 series

I'm so much excited hearing this news. If Harmony is open source OS then other Chinese brand should adopt this OS, making phone with cheaper price as Huawei phones cost a lot. Or at least Huawei should make some good mid range phone. Then I'm definitely gonna switch to harmony in the future.

That's not just a platform, it's also a battlefield. It is made for revenge. Its purpose is CONTROL. Their plan is not to get the people free and happy - it's the opposite.
Not ANY competition is good. I would very much like to see something better than android, not worse than iOS.

I must be one of those rare users who had EMUI as their favorite Android skin. OneUI is too inconsistent, and stock Android too cartoonish.

If you think iOS is closed and limited, think again!
Forget all that was open and meritocratic in Linux!

We have a lot of good news this month.

I hope the Pura70 will have a global release soon!
