Around me, people are switching away from high-end phones in general (except teens). There's just no reason to pay a lot unless you're a devoted photographer - social media addict. A few years after starting work, most people moslty drop off social.

I mean, people are switching to Android and I'm all for it. Way more customizable, open-source meaning you can tinker (if you want) and it actually PUTS you in control. iOS thinks of you as second in command. People only buy iPhones as a fashion statement. They have all that power just to scroll Instagram, like photos and text. No way you need ProRes and ProRAW

PureOS, 25 Apr 2024People doesn't want same phone for higher price every year.Apple hasn't increased prices in the United States in a long time!! And it is very obvious that it is going down, the iPhone is a stable product with which you can spend 5 years without problems, perhaps a battery replacement in between in those 5 years and you are ready to have it until it dies.. The same for the high-end Android, but in the latter there are thousands of options, Apple only releases 4 for cell phones for everyone
