Anonymous, 29 Apr 2024have tried measuring with my watch 5 and my friend's w... moreI have Ultra 2 (My First Apple Watch) and Watch 6 Classic 47mm. Though Ultra 2 wins on the UI fluidity, display, easy to use with iPhone, excellent battery....actually, I miss Blood Pressure monitor in Ultra 2 whereas Watch 6 Classic has BP, ECG and its round dial is really professional looking, Watch Faces are good (but Ultra 2 has Dual Time Zone which is implemented neat), rotating dials looks cool but eventually it dies down after sometime, the battery is not so good like Ultra 2, due to unique situation for me, the BP is not enabled (bought it in US but using it India). But Samsung Watch 6 Classic is indeed very good one but Ultra 2 is neat. I wish Ultra 2 had BP and Sugar monitoring App. Material wise though both look same, obviously, Ultra 2 is feeling better due to Titatinium whereas Watch 6 looks perfect in hand with its 47mm.

both give the same results. not sure why you claim galaxy watch is less accurate.
perhaps the only way to tell exactly is to go for a run with both but it has been proven that wrist wearables don't paint an accurate picture as compared with a real heart rate tracker. even the garmin fenix 9 pro doesn't give an accurate picture.

so no real idea why you say galaxy watch is not as accurate when even the best in the market is not as accurate to begin with.

So, yeah, I have used it. I'm wondering if YOU actually have or you're just quoting crap you read somewhere online with zero actual experience of your own.

I still remember the "my bp lab" scam with Galaxy watch active. Samsung is never up to it's promises, and their accuracy is questionable at least. They are good as smart watches tough, just not reliable as medical devices.

It's a mark of approval every time accounts like yours relentlessly flood lies about them.

Especially, if Samsung releases something to the public with claim that it can measure it, I would wait for some real testing that would show the real accuracy.
Good thing there are a few people like "The Quantified Scientist" that actually do test these claims.

I have Watch 6 Classic purchased in States but used outside, the BP function not working so far(6+ months). If they could bring Blood Sugar, BP, ECG in their watches, I would blindly go after it. In India, most of the labs(if not all), don't use samples for any of these and have altered equipment to show higher readings so that they can make permanent patients factory. I have heard some news/rumours that labs throw away all samples and fill the sheet with their own numbers, hence these Watches from reputed companies can bring some balance if not total accuracy

I really hope this becomes true, as well as other manufacturers adapting it. This is something that could actually change people‘s lives. I‘m happy to not have diabetes but for those who have it, not having to prick themselves multiple times a day, or even every 2 weeks with something like Freestyle Libre, would be extremely beneficial. It would even be good for me because I would be slightly less afraid of the possibility of getting diabetes.
