Samsung is expected to launch its next-generation smartwatches alongside the Galaxy Ring and Fold/Flip6 on July 10.

samsung initially has to upgrade existing 4 year old sensors before adding new ones. their accuracy is one of the worst in flagship class especially compared to the main rival apple watch. one example is, I was swimming once and my HR reached 188bpm at the end of my workout in my galaxy watch5. I got out of the pool and took a shower. naturally, my HR slowed down to 90-100bpm but, my galaxy watch5 was still showing me 188bpm.it also skipped some of my laps so,it is not a reliable device in terms of fitness.

        I doubt this will be accurate. How about starting with accurate basic health metrics like HR, Sleep. If your existing sensor can't do it then they have no chance with BP and blood sugar. Just an excuse to jack up the price with less accuracy. How useful was the body temperature sensor??

        Apple, Fitbit and Pixel do better than Samsung watches. Fix the basics before anything else.

Apparently, ECG sensor goes bad if it's not used and everyone who had watch blocked by authorities, the ECG sensor died in the meanwhile. It's simply can't read ECG properly and pulse line is like seismic activity, not like heart rate.

                Galaxy Watch is such half baked product I'm never buying another one (I have Galaxy Watch 4). Notifications are clumsy to control and you can't make it to display Modes and Routines notifications no matter what, Samsung Health is annoying with its motivation bullcrap, ECG and BP sensing is so clumsy and unreliable. Literally only good thing is display which is pretty good. And that's literally only thing going for it. Not worth it at all.
