Why don't they make a good nostalgic phone of any model but put a 480p screen, 8MP with flash and 2 MP front camera and dual or quad core processor with 8GB internal storage and 3GB Ram with Kai OS.
I get tempted from these phones but internals inside it makes me uninterested on it

i'm not sure why they bother with on of these series, the 2** models look good, but they seem to be just like the 're-imagined' ones. personally i would be interested in such a simple device if it came with a proper cmos [108/200mp] and can handle decent video size [4/8k], 5g and a 3.5mm. oh and an sd slot because they always fit these things with a pointless amount of storage.

no matter how many years, neither nokia understood the consumers then nor hmd understands the consumers now. changing the name doesn't mean anything unless the mindset changes. seriously like wth is wrong with them?

It looks nothing like it. Another wasted opportunity, just like the "reimagined 3310".

The irony that the original looks way more modern than the "reimagined" version after all these years.

If it does not look like 3210 then it's not a 3210 rebirth. If they lose the 3-4 buttons under screen system then it stops to be that model shape. I remember that 3110 and 3310 were more popular over the 3210 but i had all of them in one point in life

It does look much more like the new 6310 rather than the older 3210. Only from the back you could see a 3210 silhouette in this design due to the curvy sides. The pet of th front that's shown has more resemblance with the new 6310. Th whole silhouette should have more 3210 resemblance I think. But we'll see.

Minu, 29 Apr 2024Don't forget how Nokia itself retails the Nokia G11 Pl... moreYeah, they would be FAR better choices and FAR better value, just go out and buy one of them, useable screen, useable cams, holds more music that isnt polyphonic (i bet the new featurephones still only use it), you can save actual videos to it, csn actually use a web broswer instead of using WAP and having to spend insane money to get anything, it makes 0 sense using these phones (feature phones) unless they are basically free.
HMD is done, like one of those athletes or bands in music that stick to their hay day because they are so irrelevant/useless now.

Cpt.Power, 29 Apr 2024Well many people who dont need expensive smartphone with ex... moreI hate this lie that old school phones would last forever, they just didnt all the way back to the mid 90s, nor were all of them indestructible, only ones that released with metal based bodies were and that was mostly in the early - mid 00s (again living through these eras and using these phones, im so glad they changed to full screen devices like they are now and essentially little laptops)
These are pointless, a used galaxy a13 is a high quality flagship compared to these phones, they were a nightmare to use in the day having to send 100 texts or less and either your storage is used up or youve run out of credit, using infared to transfer the most basic of data, at best having GIFs that were essentially videos and again your phone could hold about 2 of them with about 30 contacts, people want that again for more money than a decent used smartphone that gives you freedom, sure i guess.

you have to suffer, 29 Apr 2024the 235 looks rather interesting for me as a dedicated mp3 ... moreJust go out and get a used lg from the mid 2010's, probably be cheaper, far more storage for actual music (or using a streaming app), and music quality will be like the the difference in efficiency from running to driving a car.
If these phones cost £10 (or equivalent) I'd agree but they are around £100, for 90s tech? That would be like PlayStation forgetting about the ps6 or ps5 pro and just going "we are going to make a PlayStation 1 again but charge more for it than an xbox one x/xbox series S".

Well, at least they make them in 4G now. But probably too late. I mean with most people now requiring apps like WhatsApp, and with cheap Android getting better thanks to companies like Ttanssion, imo HMD is too late. They should've made 4G feature phones years ago. But nope, they kept making 2G phones.

but HMD never followed these criteria and insist on using something like java-based "Maui" OS.
