24 June, 2013
Allegedly, the refreshed Xperia Z will sport the same Snapdragon 800 that's in the Xperia Z Ultra.

They should atleast put a 2800 Mah Battery inside it to match the needs of the new chipset which will be power hungry and will need even a bigger one if they gonna improve the display with a super LCD or an IPS one .

Please improve it's sound system too. The current version's volume is very low.

User of xperia z knows that are 5 major problems in it. 1st low colour saturation 2nd feeble sound 3rd heat problem 4rd very low quality battery life 5th slower performance than competitor due to bad processor n graphic. Ok 1st the display looks so pale in colour.the display goes dim altough the auto brighteness is set off, please note this. 2nd sound audibillity is weak 3rd goes hot easily 4rd the battery life is worse than competitor under the same specification.it easily spoilt its life time if charge frequently 5th snapdragon is bad very slow processor chAnge it to exynos or intel

Plz make the screen better and louder speakers, i prefer those improvements over bumped up specs.

Xperia Z2 will be fantastic if it improves on just four points over XZ: Snapdragon800, Better screen contrast, wireless charging, louder speaker... that is all

sony thinks they will sell if they pack higher number snapdragons... idiots, people want beautiful screen, great battery life(at least 3000 mAh power) great audio quality (take notice from HTC), snappy optimized theme with 0 lags, you have the design but you fail at everything else.

Why in 2013 someone ain't smart enough to take something from every company and set the bar high, like the Nokia Camera and its durable build, the Samsung features, Sony's design with water/dust proof, the dual front speakers of HTC and its beautiful display, all of this with at least a 3200 mAh power battery, stock android or iOS and high end specs in a 4.7"- 5" inch display and not thicker than 8 mm.

If this is true for ips display i hope sony can offer to xperia z current user a minimal charges to replacing tft display to ips3. :-)

So they just use the better lcd panels on their prototypes( if this rumor holds true). But i still hope they will improve the screen and not just the processor.
