The main cam will have 2x zoom as well?

    Let's be brutally honest over here, what does Sony have compared to let's say Vivo, that Vivo does not do significantly better?
    The headphone jack I am well aware of, having a jack for mic input is incredibly flexible, and you do not have to always pack a wireless mic with you ... but is there anything else?

But considering how notoriously durable Sony phones are in the long term, a longer software update should be a welcome move.

              85-170mm? That means 3.5x-7x zoom, so I'm looking forward to the upgrade.

              I'm also curious about the first-party Pro app overhaul. It sounds as if both CinemaPro and VideoPro apps will be merged into a single Video Creator app.

              LTPO screen panel? About friggin' time! Shame to see the 21:9 screen gone as it's a real blast to use screen splitting with it.

                First I was disappointed they ditched the cinematic display but they did improve pretty much everything else about this phone. I'm guessing the camera app is all in one pro + basic looking at the modes below and if they did improve these specs longer updates are also guaranteed.

                  I rather buy Vivo X100 Ultra, because I bet Sony will not sell 1TB version in Finland and I bet they will still have only 2 Android updates.
                  That's bad.

                  Sony has also all the Bluetooth codecs, like Vivo X100 Ultra will have.
                  SBC, AAC, LC3, APTX, APTX Adaptive, APTX HD, APTX Lossless, LDAC and LHDC Bluetooth codecs.
                  And DAC Headphone jack.
                  Sony will have 99% everything, but they lack Android updates, so this phone will be overpriced and useless after 2 years.

                  Sony Xperia Mark VI will have maybe top 6 of the best smartphone cameras in the world, but only 2 years Android updates, that’s a big no no for me.

                    Do you know who's worse than Sony fanboys? Sony haters. Jesus Christ guys, so far there's absolutely nothing wrong with this phone

Like calling screen damages notches or punch holes. Of which Samsung justifies by calling them Infinity V and Infinity O. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 What a sick joke.
                        Not to mention under screen tech is expensive and that losing the bezels means losing useful sensors that used to be placed in those bezels.

                          Is it weird that I like the old UI better? I mean for the average person it doesn't make sense, but it does for me. Probably cause it's been a Sony thing for a while.

                          Otherwise only thing left is the camera resolution which is probably a typical 48MP+12MP+12MP. Although Sony could suprise us with a triple 48MP array.

                          Can't wait.

Slim bezels is fine but punch hole is just a bad workaround and I rather have bezel with good front cameras than deal with another mole. Plus front speakers. I'm not holding back this time.

                                  I'm really looking forward to discovering it in 2 weeks! Few new features but mergers of video and photo applications, change of dimensions, better sound etc. I wonder what the 3rd color will be with black and white (nice white with white APN surround). The question is whether the Pro is actually canceled this fall.
