3. People are too lazy to use their brain for customizing phone. They want something that 'just works' (already set and readymade os configuration)

During Steve Jobs tenure,
He against giving a dividend and Apple have plenty of money
But now under Tim Cook,
He pay dividend, and if Apple need capital he will sell future and borrow from the bank.
So Apple while have big income, it's actually a bubble.

my wife's iphone get's buggy sometimes, requires software reset to fix and then works fine for months.
I'm convinced apple has a built in nudging logic that fucks with phones that are slightly older so people upgrade to newer models or bring phones for servicing.

They shot themselves in the foot, to be honest. 120hz on regular iPhones is long overdue. Should've been there since iPhone 13.
And to whoever says this argument is stupid, I really don't care. Samsung can implement 90hz panels on their phones that are around 200 dollars and they're less rich than Apple. Apple can add 120hz to their normal phones and CHOOSES not to. And it wouldn't cannibalize sales anyways because
1, Apple consumers are too dumb to know what 120hz is and
2, people will still buy the phones anyways, regardless if it's 60, 90 or 120hz.
They're also shooting themselves in the foot due to how selfish they are and how many wars they've been waging with the EU. Apple got a bit too cocky with their Lightning port, so EU forced USB-C on all devices. Apple has also been blocking sideloading and other software features, so EU published DMA. Apple is even gatekeeping their OS's on purpose so EU claimed iPadOS AND iOS as gatekeeper services.

Transsion and others eats into cheap Samsungs while lots of competition for Apple, including their very own older models. Iphone 11-14 are lost sales for iphone 15.

Compromised 120Hz for regular iPhones, now they have to compromise in sales. Regular users may not care, but having some more rate would actually persuade some Android users to make the vanilla 15s as their iOS-starter phone. S24 series or any Chinese brands are not competent enough to make that fruit company dowm, it is Apple shoot themself in their foot by not applying the new industry standards.
