Even Snapdragon 7 gen 3 has lower geekbench score than Exynos 1480.
And here we are..seeing Sony uses even worse chipset 6 gen 1 to its new phone in 2024.

Removed telephoto, 7s Gen 2 avoided. If Sony releases 10 VII with the same chipset, time to scratch Sony off of recommendable phone brands.

[deleted post]Phone can use a 4 gen 1, heck even an Unisoc chip, and will still top your 1XXth mediocre chinese clone with unoptimized flagship cpu and notifications coming 1 week late.
You spec-readers never understand phone design and can only buy ODM junk with expensive chips stuck inside.

I'm going to lose it if it's 60hz again, especially now that they removed the telephoto.
Because at 399 euro (msrp each year) it's time to at least go 90hz.

People complaining about the chip... Do you happen to be desktop owners? This thing was probably finished already way before leaks came out.
Like how the 10 V used sd695 bec qualcomm didn't have a battery king at that time.
You just can't swap smartphone chips at will just like how you swap gpus and cpus on your desktops.

Removed telephoto camera, crappy 6 Gen 1.
Sony genuinely don't seem to want to sell phones.
They should've used 7s Gen 2 and kept the telephoto camera.
GSMarena, we don't need a review of this PoS. Just an FYI.
A review of the Moondrop MIAD 01 would be nice though 👍
