Anyone serious about gaming has got a PC or console, or at the very least a Steam Deck. Only casual gamers and kids play PUBG, CoD mobile and Genshin Impact, and they run just fine on 8gen2, or even 870. We don't need more power. We need endurance.
I'm so tired of phones weighing like bricks, being large as tablets, but barely lasting a day.

The only way he is executing GTA is because he is doing it in a virtual machine on x86 host.
But Wine on Aarch64 will only be able to work with ARM64 PE files. I.e. programs compiled for Windows ARM64. And while there is no official Wine for Aarch64, there are many Linux distributions that provide Wine with their Aarch64 ports. Like Debian, for example. And it is working natively under Android with termux/proot. But without root access you wouldn't have access to most hardware. With unlocked bootloader and root access you can install distribution into chroot. That would give you larger scope of abilities, including working Snaps and Flatpaks, but Wine is still not an emulator, nor simulator. You would still need x86 translator, which wouldn't be fast.

Call me when Google copies the "Game Porting Toolkit" this I/O or next I/O... They've already added Android Dynamic Performance Framework (ADPF) to Android 15. (optimizes games based on the dynamic thermal and CPU management)
And FYI, I used to be the sort of person who is constantly shy & is always embarrassed about asking rudimentary questions but I'm no longer that. I realized that in order for people to stay ahead of the curve, they need to become shameless. Let go of your self-pride, It's sinful.

It's optimized to run efficiently already on not so demanding chip from 2015. And he is right if you unlock Switch chip like you do on Dock mode, battery would not last 1 hour.

It will Use probably 0.5W on full 100% load and it will never throttle, you can run it all day 100% performance mode until battery dies and battery life would be 1 week if you just scroll internet and do tic tok all day. The problem is your phone will perform like garbage, with all those weak A53 or whatever cores and you will cry then, "oh my phone cannot game" "oh my phone opens tik tik too slow" and what you going to do, you will go buy faster phone and say, much better, f the longer battery life 🤣That's why manufacturers pushing towards more performance, because they know cry babies prefer 60fps and tik tik scrolling faster than 1 week battery life 😜

Am looking forward seeing another red magic gaming smartphone released with this soc with built-in cooling fans ufs 4.0 storage
& At least 24gb of ram & 1tb storage
Am just wondering is it better water cool the flagship soc for overclocking or air conditioner on mobile??

No they last longer on mobile devices because the CPU's maybe more powerful but they are more efficient. The CPU in a switch is from 2017. Its a 16 nm CPU, mobile devices are now on 4nm thats a massive difference in efficiency.

I had someone on youtube try this on Egg NS, he played it for almost 1 hour battery reduced by 30% and you also see that he is using WiFi and active dual SIM.
