If Nokia could make an Android KLP phone with a magnificent screen (5.5"-5.9", 1080p, great contrast, vivid colors, natural look, deep black, great under the sun-the 808 is the best, great viewing angle), monstrous processing power (equal or better than the one in the XZU), crazy GPU (like in the Nexus 10), minimum of 2GB RAM, a special stylus along with wacom digitizer embedded to the phone with special apps maximizing them, 4000 MAh battery, dual sim-dual stand by, also with some unique and cool features and of course its improved 41MP carl zeiss camera module (in a very compact, light, thin, mightily durable and stylish case, of course. Kevlar, maybe), and comes with a reasonable price tag. Then, I can guarantee them the total dominance in no time. They might even rule the world. I mean it. ;)

Nokia really should adopt android , I've had a Nokia since my first phone for 12 years but recently i have had to say bye bye to my Nokia n9 for the Sony xperia z and i have to say i love my xperia z. Sony has really just made the perfect smart phone people say battery life aint the best but i use apps ,listen to music and surf the web and i get though the day with a fair bit of battery left over. but i guess what im trying to get at is this could all be Nokia all the have to do is adopt android and keep making sleek phones. that's all Nokia do it and you will be number one in the market!

I don't understand these 'analysts'...
Surely they (and everybody else knows) that the deal struck with Microsoft meant that Nokia would be solely Windows (high end phones)...
Nokia needed the cash... Microsoft needed the manufacturer...
And unfortunately this agreement will continue until Nokia's demise, and then Microsoft will gobble them up for a fraction of their worth...
Such a shame as their more recent phones are really something exceptional...

As everyone knows, Nokia had an operating system, co- developed with Intel, that they abandoned when Elop came on board. That system, Maemo/Meego could, afaik, handle Android apps. Nokia N900 and N9 users were very happy with their phones. Elop's rationale was the Windows, and WP ecosystem. A small start up, Jolla, has developed a phone built on the Maemo/Meego platform (although not the interface). Now, if they could do this, on a tiny budget, and reasonably rapidly, perhaps Nokia could evaluate buying them up? It may be that the Msft ecosystem is too slow and cumbersome in the mobile space.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2013we don't need another me too android, wp8 is sleek, super f... moreThe market proves you are wrong, WP is neither pretty nor sleek. Android has much more features and most importantly it is open source. The fans of pretty phones already have iphone why would they want to buy wp... PEOPLE USE OPEN SOURCE !!! Go for Android, Firefox, Meego and so on, don't use closed c--p!

I don't that would work out well for competition. Just the fact that Nokia makes Windows Phones means that no other manufacturer can hope to compete against Nokia in that department. If they make Android as well, it would be time to say goodbye to competition.

What an ignorance around, what is WPos btw? Just an operating system, programming scripts which can be changed in any way, MS can make it anyway they like, can change features, ui, etc, even indipendent devs (only best ones) can find ways of manipulating it. It's a man made thing, able to be changed limitlessly, why on earth they should allow Google monopolizing? WP is simply not enough evolved, a matter of time, but Android= the mess OS, if it may called a system,.
