Nokia is not in good terms with Google as the former sued the latter before for patent infringement so Nokia will never go Android.

    1. search for this "AnaLyst" and then draw conclusions.
    2. he's not the only one, but it seems all these anaLysts only see Android, hear that Ubuntu, Firefox, Sailfish, Tizen? you better go home because all these anaLysts only see the gold in Android, you are already doomed.
    3. WP is not perfect, of course everyone expected miracles after night but it's growing, not that fast but it's not going down either, as for Nokia, they did an incredible job after Elop went for MS and not the same could be said about those lazy MS guys-quit playing at your Xbox and improove this OS

You didn't understand that Nokia MUST ship Windows Phones EXCLUSIVELY (meaning they can't go to Android) due to a contract they have with Microsoft.

vince, 01 Jul 2013here in Manila no one buy Nokia Phones - because we do not ... moreI'm from the Philippines and I could say, yes, very few here use a Nokia Lumia. Most are using Android. I'm using a Nokia Lumia 920 and everyone who sees me holding my phone can't help but glance and stare and tell me how beautiful my phone is. It's lack of marketing why Nokia Lumia don't sell much here not because people don't like WP.

there's no such things as "exclusive" in WP since many manufacturers also shipping WP smartphones, and all of them have the same boring UI, no customization or what so ever.
so, Nokia is just the another WP manufacturer, not an "exclusive" WP manufacturers.

the fact that you have no idea of the meaning of "exclusive" shows you're just trolling here.

They definitely should make an Android device and test it out if it will sell more than the Lumia 920's series. I bought the Lumia 920 and it's a big mistake. It is truly a smart camera and that's it, instead of a smartphone, but can't blame Nokia, they enjoy milking off Microsoft. While Microsoft already knows the issues we Lumia 920 users are having, they refuse to listen and release an update for the shortcomings of the BETA OS. 1020 EOS? Wait for the 1025 EOS which they will add another lens to it. LOL!

I can't believe Nokia haven't gone with Android before. They really should have cut their losses with Symbian. Even if Symbian has improved since I owned one (which I doubt), it still doesn't have the app store that Android & iOs have & that's a good part of the experience that people buy into.
I owned Nokias from 2000-2012 & hoped they would do an exciting smart phone but... now I own a Galaxy SIII & am looking forward to the Note III.
Nokia doesn't even have to give up Windows, just offer some Android options. They still do great hardware, just a shame about the software. Looks like lots of support for them here...

Nokia please start using Android. You'll be the market leader again, seriously you'll come back on the track. I really don't like windows phones. I used Nokia 720 as my secondary phone but within 1 month I sold it and switched to ios. Loving my iphone 4s and SAMSUNG GS3. according to me Android is an amazing operating system for mobiles. There is no replacement of it in near future

'Nokia shouldn't build boats of a phone just to stay afloat' captain says.

But seriously, after selling the 920 at work, there's no reason for it to be that big. The 925 is better but still not enough to be considered a flagship.

They will not switch or expand to Android until there is a new management or board members. They know they are kissing money but their ego is so huge that they can't feel the losses. What a pity.

Top end Nokia phones have amazing build quality, cameras(don't forget 41MP), screen quality, applications(Here maps, nokia city lens) and huge fan base in developing countries!! If only they made high-end ANDROID phones, they could seriously threaten Samsung in next few years!! Come on Nokia!!

Nokia is doing well with WP and doesn't need Android. Nokia has the guts to compete Android and iOs. The results are impressive.

Samsung had Symbian phones with better specs like the Omnia HD which had much better processor, screen than its Nokia rival at the time which was the N97 which had much less. Even in Windows Phone, Samsung still takes the further step. Their ATIV phones have bigger screen and card slot compared to the Lumia 920 and 925 which have smaller screen and lack a card slot. Samsung always makes phones with better specs while Nokia makes phones with better quality. Android is all about the specs race and Nokia can't compete with Samsung when it comes to specs.

It is more than obvious that Nokia is fading out and the likes of Samsung, Apple, HTC, Sony and even Chinese companies like Huwaei and ZTE are taking front row seats to the smarphone market. The only solution to this is for Nokia to go "Droooooooid!"
