And that is why I will never again buy another android phone. Any model you buy is replaced in months by something better and before you know it, your phone is obsolete and not supported anymore. Its like the manufacturers just want to grab your money and tell you to sod off shortly afterwards. The worst company for updates has got to be LG. Bye bye android. Never again!

this is normal in androidland... phone companies are always dropping support on phones, some even less than a year after being released. sad.

it looks like they didn't learn from other manufacturers (ie: LG)

No updates = phone open for malware. Oh well. Not my loss.

Ios, 02 Jul 2013The main reason why i left android is because of its update... moreI pity you apple fan boys, iPhone will get ios7 update with only 3 features available :-) seriously you call that an os update refer to http://www.gsmarena.com/apple_ios_7-review-940.php

Anyway, people desperate to upgrade to newer OS builds will turn to alternative roms since after 1 year, the product is not under warranty anymore.

Average Joe won't care about OS updates as long as they can still make calls, send texts, use fb or twitter and listen to mp3.

HTC should half its price if they drop support, it would be then a bargain for many.

I had an HTC Desire and they refused to update it to new sense and leave us only half of the GB experience...

now I own and will allways own an Nexus device... HTC will newer learn how to become a n°1... and they was very very near few years ago.....
