Kastus, 01 Jun 2024I will gladly buy it in Europe for this price. I'd rat... moreHate to break it to you but HMD's hardware is just rebranded Chinese ODM garbage. And they're not only co-owned by Foxconn, get also have their R&D in China and Chinese investments.
There's nothing really European about HMD other than their legal address.

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2024If it have easily replaceable batteries like the Pulse Pro ... moreHow is it first middle class to have easy to change battery. Is there even easier way to change batter then you can do it with FairPhone ? That is also middle class phone with around the same performance as the 7s gen 2

Kastus, 01 Jun 2024China has a closed society and a closed Internet. That'... moreThe problem is that western world is not making it cheap to produce in here and have all types of regulations. Even food and so on with all types of regulation to farmers that basically wants the farmers to die out.
I am all for that we make our own product but laws need to be changed that it's cheap to make and cheap to buy as we cant compete with China on this.
China is also only a threat cause we make them a threat with all the hate towards them by defaming them on every chance.
We should be yin and yang with China but the USA wants to be enemies and that all the western world be enemies with the East.
Well i can understand why USA hate China. They cant control politically that country and they cant abuse their cheap labor anymore too. And also have trillions of dollars debt to them that they have no resource to pay back.

I would think tha... moreChina has a closed society and a closed Internet. That's who really controls his people.
There will be big problems from China in the future, so it is right that some brands transfer the production of their goods to other countries. I am ready to buy this product. This is an investment in a future without Chinese domination.

I would think that it was already very common in western side of our planet doing it before it was a problem that China is doing it. Google and Android is basically in the pocket of CIA.
Just go to YouTube and copy paste this to the search "Edward Snowden Was Right! Google & The CIA Are Watching You Do This!"

Anonymous, 01 Jun 2024€520 for 7s Gen 2, and there are people who said the Xperia... moreThe 7s Gen 2 inside the Skyline is just a slightly overclocked version (by 200MHz) of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 inside the Xperia 10 VI and some much cheaper phones. The Redmi Note 13 Pro, for basically half the price, is better.

ThunderCrackR, 01 Jun 2024Oh, wow, if the render is close to real, finally Lumia/N9 d... moreWhat do you mean Split from Nokia ???
HMD had license to use Nokia branding and it's patents as it was never under Nokia company. Nokia stopped making phones after they sold it to Microsoft while HMD is just a brand that has former Nokia mobile department workers

I will gladly buy it in Europe for this price. I'd rather buy a European smartphone than a Chinese one with its advertising and information theft.

I'm always curious how GSMArena gets the first scoop of every HMD release, along with purportedly grainy & thumbnail images that are accurate, but yeah! Not from official sources? wink wink? Big LOL.

SA466, 01 Jun 2024Sure it's more expensive then, but this has the price ... moreSo, just as garbage as the Fairphone? The benefits it has are highly questionable, just due to it's specs being fairly mediocre right now, let alone in the future
