And that phone DID get BURN IN all the time. So i dont know why people are talking sh1t as if oled are the only ones that burn in when LCD does it too.

L... moreAlways the anonymous commenters who are making absolute statements while not backing them up with any evidence. Which Steam Deck OLED owner is suffering from burn-in right now, for example? Is burn-in a problem on the Nintendo Switch OLED? The answer to both is no, and you know it. Plus, you absolutely can have DC dimming on an OLED, just take a look at the Realme GT5 Pro and OnePlus 8.

Just get a laptop, and add on a controller.

          $799 and no 1 inch sensor and 10x telephoto..?😥

Darth Caesium, 02 Jun 2024At $800, still with no OLED screen, this is DOA. Also, ... moreIf I was Asus, I would've not only put a larger OLED screen with thinner bezels and a higher brightness and with HDR support, but I would've also put hall effect joysticks and hall effect triggers on this and increased the fast charging capabilities to at least 120W. The Asus ROG Ally X is just too close to the Asus ROG Ally in terms of features, and these features I would've given to it would increase the differences and massively help to market this device.

At $800, still with no OLED screen, this is DOA.

Also, keep in mind that the original Asus ROG Ally had a design failure that would cause microSD cards to eventually fail, because the microSD card reader was right up against the internal fan, and so the card would eventually die from heat. People who had this happen to them did not get their units replaced for free with ones that did not suffer from this problem (because such units didn't even exist, every unit suffered from this same problem), and they didn't get a replacement microSD card for free either. Plus, Asus to this day still denies that this was a design failure, and blames the customer for their actions. Asus' lying and blame game are despicable, and that's yet another reason why people are not going to buy this thing.
